News Right Now: Dangerously Close

The United States, for decades, has maintained a significant naval and military presence in the Middle East. From sprawling bases in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait to the extensive fleet stationed in the Persian Gulf, the U.S. military presence has proven to be very dominant and influential in the region. These deployments, under the guise of maintaining regional stability, have been pivotal in asserting American influence over Middle Eastern affairs. The open presence of U.S. forces with their covert operations, where special forces, intelligence agencies, and even private military contractors—mercenaries—carry out missions where they can quite frankly do as they please with absolutely no accountability. Cases like Raymond Davies, Aafia Siddiqui and Osama Bin Laden’s assassination with many more PROVE the no jail free card US has to do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING no strings attached!

Our so-called Muslim regimes across the Middle East have played a crucial role in facilitating this American dominance. Whether through direct alliances or tacit agreements, they have shamelessly acted in ways that align with U.S. regional strategies having sold themselves as well as the Ummahs assets for so cheap!!!

These regimes prioritize their survival, status and economic benefits over the care of their own people, their Ummah and brethren, allowing foreign powers to exploit and loot the resources and dictate its political future. The subservience of these regimes is evident in their willingness to host foreign military bases, purchase vast amounts of American weapons, and suppress movements that threaten the status quo!!! They ally with the enemies of Islam, oppress and terrorize their own with abductions, imprisonment and torture - all while forgetting the questioning they will face on the day of judgement.

It has been made crystal clear that what the West fears most is the emergence of the Khilafah —a unified Islamic leadership, which is the only possibility to unite the ranks of Muslims across national borders and challenge the current order!! Such a revival would not only disrupt the carefully constructed alliances and dependencies but would also put an end to the exploitation and meddling that has plagued the Muslim world for over a century!! The prospect of a Khilafah represents a direct threat to Western hegemony in the region, as it offers an alternative model of governance rooted in Islamic principles, capable of mobilizing and uniting the Ummah against foreign influence; which once and for all, rids the Ummah of all her troubles and cruelty she’s had to face due to the malice and evil of the West!

The pressing question we must ask ourselves is: what are we doing in response? Are we content to watch as our lands are carved up, our resources plundered, and our brothers and sisters oppressed? Or will we rise to the challenge, work to unite our ranks, and strive towards the establishment of a Khilafah that can protect our interests, preserve our dignity, and put an end to the West's relentless interference in our affairs? The time for action is now, and the responsibility lies with each of us to make the Khilafah a reality. Allah (swt) says:

[وَأَعِدُّواْ لَهُم مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُم مِّن قُوَّةٍ وَمِن رِّبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدْوَّ اللّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِن دُونِهِمْ لاَ تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ وَمَا تُنفِقُواْ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تُظْلَمُونَ]

“Prepare against them what you ˹believers˺ can of ˹military˺ power and cavalry to deter Allah’s enemies and your enemies as well as other enemies unknown to you but known to Allah. Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be paid to you in full and you will not be wronged.” [Surah Anfal: Verse 60]
