Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan is organizing a campaign of short videos on social media during the blessed month of Ramadan for this year 1444 AH - 2023 CE, bi'thinallah.

May Allah accept fasting, qiyaam, and all acts of worship and acts of worship from us and from you.

O Allah, restore our shield for us, the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood... O Allah, Ameen.

1 Ramadhan 1444 AH

 Taqwa is to avert the Wrath of Allah ﷻ. Taqwa mandates fulfilling the commands of Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ. Let us focus upon our Taqwah this Ramadhan, so that we worship steadfastly, in complete devotion to Allah ﷻ.

Thursday, 01 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 23 March 2023 CE

2 Ramadhan 1444 AH

 Iman in the Messengers (as) is not just Iman in the sanctity of certain beings alone. Iman in the Messengers (as) confirms that the human intellect is incapable of finding the correct treatments for the problems of life. It is the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, that will rule us by the Message of the Last Messenger ﷺ.

3 Ramadhan 1444 AH

 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, إنَّ الإيمانَ لَيَخْلَقُ في جَوْفِ أحدِكُمْ كَما يَخلَقُ الثّوبُ “Indeed, Iman wears out in the chest of each of you, just as cloth wears out.”  [At-Tabarani]. The blessed month of Ramadhan is an opportunity from Allah ﷻ to renew our Iman by Fasting, Qiyam ul Layl, remembering the Hereafter and contemplating on the Revelation from Allah ﷻ.

Saturday, 03 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 25 March 2023 CE 

4 Ramadhan 1444 AH

 Allah ﷻ has commanded enjoining good and forbidding evil in all circumstances, regardless of the consequences. Allah ﷻ said,

 [وَلْتَكُنْ  مِّنْكُمْ  اُمَّةٌ  یَّدْعُوْنَ  اِلَى  الْخَیْرِ وَ یَاْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَ یَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِؕ وَ اُولٰٓىٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ]

“Let there arise from amongst you a group that enjoins the good and forbids the evil; these are the successful ones.” [TMQ Surah Aali Imran 3:104].

 Islam is neither merely a spiritual philosophy, nor just a moral code. Islam is a complete code of conduct, guiding us in our individual ibaadah, as well as our economy, education, foreign policy and ruling. That is the complete meaning of Deen.

6 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Nasr of Allah ﷻ is the secret to the success of the Islamic armed forces, against larger, more powerful enemies. In the past, the Khilafah defeated major world powers, such as the Romans, the Persians, the Mongols, the Tartars and the Crusaders. In the future, it will do so as well, by the permission of Allah ﷻ.

7 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Islam is the True Deen, chosen by Allah ﷻ. We turn to nothing else for guidance in our individual and collective lives. Allah ﷻ says,

[وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ]

“Whoever will follow any Deen other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him, and he will be among losers in the Hereafter.” [TMQ Surah Aali-Imran 3:85].

8 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, نِعْمَتَانِ مَغْبُونٌ فِيهِمَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ الصِّحَّةُ وَالفَرَاغُ “There are two blessings which many people squander, health and spare time.” [Bukhari]. The believers take care of their health, not for quality of life in itself, but so that they can fulfill the obligations of Islam with vigor.

9 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, انْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ، وَلَا تَنْظُرُوا إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ فَوْقَكُمْ، فَهُوَ أَجْدَرُ أَنْ لَا تَزْدَرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ “Look at those who are less well-off but do not look at those who are more well-off, lest you belittle the favors Allah ﷻ conferred upon you.” [Muslim].  We are grateful for the favors and dedicate them in obedience to Allah ﷻ

Friday, 09 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 31 March 2023 CE

10 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,  اغتنمْ خمسًا قبلَ خمسٍ: حياتَك قبلَ موتِك، وصحتَك قبلَ سقمِك، وفراغَك قبلَ شغلِك، وشبابَك قبلَ هرمِك، وغنَاك قبلَ فقرِك “Benefit of five matters, before five matters, life before death, health before sickness, free time before becoming busy, youth before old age, prosperity before poverty and life before death.” [Bayhaqi, Al-Haakim and Imam Sayuti in Al-Jaam’a as-Saghir].  The majority of the Companions (ra) were young when they entered Islam, and raised the Truth to boldly change the direction of the world.

Saturday, 10 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 1 April 2023 CE

11 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, الْكَيِّسُ مَنْ دَانَ نَفْسَهُ وَعَمِلَ لِمَا بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْعَاجِزُ مَنْ أَتْبَعَ نَفْسَهُ هَوَاهَا وَتَمَنَّى عَلَى اللَّهِ “The wise one is he who disciplined himself and worked for what is after death, and the feeble one is he who followed his desires, then made vain prayers to Allah.” [Tirmidhi]. The wise prepare for death before its unannounced arrival, whilst the feeble meet it with regret.

Sunday, 11 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 2 April 2023 CE

12 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, وَاللَّهِ مَا الدُّنْيَا فِي الآخِرَةِ إِلاَّ مِثْلُ مَا يَجْعَلُ أَحَدُكُمْ إِصْبَعَهُ هَذِهِ فِي الْيَمِّ فَلْيَنْظُرْ بِمَ يَرْجِعُ “By Allah, this world compared to the Hereafter, is only like one of you dipping his finger in the ocean and then he should see as to what has stuck to it.” [Muslim]. So, why should we compromise an ocean, for that which cannot even fill a thimble?

Monday, 12 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 3 April 2023 CE

13 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Allah ﷻ said,]فَاصْدَعْ بِمَا تُؤْمَرُ[ “Proclaim what you have been ordered.” [TMQ Surah Al- Hijr 15:94]. Thus, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conveyed Islam openly and publicly. In our time of the ruling by other than Islam, it is upon each of us to proclaim Islam openly, until we succeed in establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.

Tuesday, 13 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 4 April 2023 CE

14 Ramadhan 1444 AH

In the year 13 AH, on 14 Ramadhan, in the Battle of Buwaib, 8000 Muslims defeated 100,000 Persian kuffar. Ramadan is not the month of fasting and Qiaym ul Layl alone. It is the month of defeating the enemies of the Deen, liberating Muslim Lands and opening new lands for Islam.

Wednesday, 14 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 5 April 2023 CE

15 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Allah ﷻ said,

[إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَادِكُمْ عَدُوًّ الَكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ]

“Verily, among your wives and your children there are enemies for you.” [TMQ Surah Taghabun 64:14]. If those who we love and care for, pressure us to disobey our Lord, what are we to do? Let us strive so that our families are a firm support for our upholding the Truth, in the current days of Falsehood.

Thursday, 15 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 6 April 2023 CE

16 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ reminded the Ansaar (ra) during Hunayn, يَا أَلَمْ أَجِدْكُمْ ضُلَّالًا فَهَدَاكُمُ اللهُ بِي، وَكُنْتُمْ مُتَفَرِّقِينَ فَأَلَّفَكُمُ اللهُ بِي؟ “Did I not find you misguided and Allah directed you to guidance because of me? Were you not divided beforehand and Allah unified you around me?” [Bukhari]. The fighting men of the Ansaar were unified through their material support (Nussrah) for a single Islamic State for all Muslims. The armed forces of the Muslim World are in need of the same today.

Friday, 16 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 7 April 2023 CE

17 Ramadhan 1444 AH

On 17 Ramadhan, in the year 2 AH, on the day of the Battle of Badr, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed, اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ تُهْلِكْ هَذِهِ الْعِصَابَةَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْإِسْلَامِ لَا تُعْبَدْ فِي الْأَرْضِ “O Allah, if this small band of Muslims is destroyed, You will not be worshiped on this earth.” [Muslim] Today, as well, it is Allah ﷻ who will secure victory for our armed forces against larger, more powerful enemies.

Saturday, 17 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 8 April 2023 CE

18 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى صُوَرِكُمْ وَأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ يَنْظُرُ إِلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَأَعْمَالِكُمْ “Verily, Allah does not look at your appearance or wealth, but he looks at your hearts and actions.” [Muslim]. Islam removes the disease of striving for worldly status. It raises the ambition of the believer to pursue a high rank in Jannah.

Sunday, 18 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 9 April 2023 CE

19 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Abu Bakr As-Siddique (ra) said, “I have heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, إِنَّ النَّاسَ إِذَا رَأَوْا الظَّالِمَ فَلَمْ يَأْخُذُوا عَلَى يَدَيْهِ أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يَعُمَّهُمْ اللَّهُ بِعِقَابٍ مِنْهُ “When people see an oppressor but do not prevent him from (doing evil), it is likely that Allah will punish them all.”” [Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi and An-Nisaa'i]. Thus, the first Khaleefah Rashid (ra) rejected isolation and ignoring the crimes of the oppressors

 Monday, 19 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 10 April 2023 CE

20 Ramadhan 1444 AH

On 20 Ramadhan, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ opened Makkah, whilst reciting the aayah,

[وَقُلْ جَاۗءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۭ اِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوْقًا]

“And Say, “Truth has arrived and Falsehood perished, for Falsehood is bound to perish.” [TMQ Surah Al-Isra’a 17:81] We must all strive for the re-establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, for Truth to prevail in our era, over the falsehood of the West.

Tuesday, 20 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 11 April 2023 CE

21 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Ruling by All that Allah (swt) Revealed

Allah ﷻ commanded the ruler to rule by all that He ﷻ revealed. Allah ﷻ says,

[وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ]

“And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by all that Allah has revealed.” [TMQ Surah al-Ma’ida 5:49]. It is the Khaleefah that will ensure that Islam is applied in ruling, economics, education and foreign policy, as well as fasting and praying.

The Khaleefah of Muslims Looks After Their Affairs

The Prophet ﷺ said, كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ تَسُوسُهُمُ الأَنْبِيَاءُ، كُلَّمَا هَلَكَ نَبِيٌّ خَلَفَهُ نَبِيٌّ، وَإِنَّهُ لا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي، وَسَيَكُونُ خُلَفَاءُ فَيَكْثُرُونَ “Banu Isra'il had their affairs looked after by the Prophets. When one Prophet died, another succeeded him. After me there is no Prophet and there will be in large numbers.” [Bukhari and Muslim] It is a duty for us to ensure that a Khaleefah looks after our affairs, by Revelation.

Thursday, 22 Ramadhan 1444 AH - 13 April 2023 CE

23 Ramadhan 1444 AH

The Khaleefah is Neither a Dictator nor a Democrat

Allah ﷻ said,

[فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ] 

“And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day.” [TMQ Surah an-Nisa’a 4:59]. The Khaleefah rules by neither his own personal opinion nor the consensus opinion of an assembly. He refers in all disputes to the Noble Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah.

Carrying the Islamic Dawah

The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ paid as much attention to the Dawah of Islam, as they did to following the Deen of Islam.  If the Muslims of earlier times had not done so, then Islam would not have reached us. Today, every Muslim must have no hesitation in carrying the Dawah for Islam.

25 Ramadhan 1444 AH

Call towards Islam

When Islam is not being implemented, our Dawah must be to present Islam as a comprehensive way of life, so that all the affairs of the people are governed by Islam. Once Islam is implemented, the Khilafah uses material resources to remove obstacles, in the way of carrying the Dawah to the entire world.

Changing Dar ul Kufr to Dar ul Islam

When there is no Islamic state in the Muslim Lands that implements Islamic law, the Muslim Lands become Darul Kufr, even if the majority are Muslims. Partial reform work is ineffective, even if it persisted for decades. A radical change is required, which uproots the false system and establishes the Islamic Khilafah.

Islam Can Only be Secured Through its Concepts

The Prophet ﷺ said on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ   “Have I not conveyed, O Allah?” [Al-Bukhari]. The Dawah to the Deen is the legacy left by the Prophet ﷺ for the Ummah.  We must preserve the message of Islam in purity, not in a mixture of Eastern and Western ideologies.

Inclusion of Islamists Does Not Remove Kufr from the System

The caretakers of the current system of falsehood uses the name of Islam to prolong its life. The Khilafah is the Islamic State in reality. Every single law and article of the constitution is derived from the Noble Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah. Where there is a difference of opinion, the Khaleefah decides which is the strongest opinion, for binding implementation.

Rejecting Taghut

Muslims must strive against the rule of Taghut, which is any authority other than Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ said,

[يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُواْ إِلَى الطَّاغُوتِ وَقَدْ أُمِرُواْ أَن يَكْفُرُواْ بِهِ]

"They seek the judgment of false judges (Taghut), which they were commanded to reject." [TMQ Surah An-Nisa 4:60]. It is in the Khilafah that Allah ﷻ is Alone Sovereign, such that no law can be made in disobedience to Him ﷻ.

1 Shawwal 1444 AH

Eid under the Shade of the Khilafah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي تَوَادِّهِمْ وَتَرَاحُمِهِمْ وَتَعَاطُفِهِمْ مَثَلُ الْجَسَدِ إِذَا اشْتَكَى مِنْهُ عُضْوٌ تَدَاعَى لَهُ سَائِرُ الْجَسَدِ بِالسَّهَرِ وَالْحُمَّى “The example of the believers in their mutual love, compassion and empathy is like that of a body. If one part is hurt then the rest of the body calls out in sleeplessness and fever.” [Bukhari & Muslim]. It must not be that one part of the body is celebrating, whilst the other part is in pain. Let us pray for the return of the Khilafah, the shield of the Islamic Ummah.
