Egyptian Statements on Trump’s Plan: A Political Maneuver or a Principled Stance?
(Translated)

Egyptian diplomatic sources have stated that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will postpone his scheduled visit to Washington amid escalating tensions between Egypt and the United States. (Source: Elaph Arabic news website)
These statements regarding Sisi’s refusal to visit the U.S., as long as President Trump’s plan to displace the people of Gaza remains on the table, have sparked widespread debate about the true stance of Egypt on the Palestinian issue. Questions have been raised about the seriousness of Egypt’s commitment to confronting projects aimed at liquidating the Palestinian cause, and about who is really refusing to meet whom, Sisi or Trump. Trump seems to expect Sisi to accept his desires as binding orders, as if Sisi were an employee of the White House. This dynamic was evident in photos taken during a previous visit to the White House, and even in the context of the aid provided to the Egyptian regime and its military, which the regime eagerly pursues.
Trump’s confident rhetoric, asserting that Sisi and the King of Jordan would accept his plans, further underscores this reality. Despite their public rejection of the displacement plan, it is likely that both leaders will work to find diplomatic exits that facilitate its implementation. Alternatively, there may be a different plan in the works, one that aims to turn Gaza into a demilitarized zone, free of Hamas and the resistance, and mujahideen, in exchange for survival and reconstruction, a plan that even Jews might not accept.
Trump’s plan to displace the people of Gaza to Sinai and Jordan is part of an old colonialist strategy aimed at emptying the Blessed Land of its people, and consolidating a purely Jewish state. This plan may fall within the context of the “Deal of the Century,” which seeks to definitively liquidate the Palestinian cause.
The claim that Egypt rejects the plan to displace Palestinians does not align with reality. The Egyptian regime is directly involved in the economic and humanitarian strangulation of the Gaza Strip, making life there nearly impossible, and pushing its residents to seek any opportunity to leave. In this way, the regime is practically contributing to the implementation of the displacement plan, that it claims to oppose.
Egyptian statements rejecting Trump’s plan are nothing more than an attempt to buy time, and present a false nationalistic stance. The reality proves that the Egyptian regime operates solely in service of Western projects, considering them strategic plans that must be executed.
We do not need to debate whether the Egyptian president will visit Trump or not, nor whether he will accept the plan to displace the people of Gaza or not, nor even whether he is working to implement other plans for Trump. In all cases, Sisi is an agent of America, serving its interests, and a traitor to the Ummah. Sisi is a partner in the crime of the occupying entity and a faithful guardian of its borders, standing between the Ummah and its armies, preventing them from uprooting the occupation and liberating Palestine. These statements and reliance on the international order are nothing but an attempt to lull these armies into believing that the Egyptian regime is genuinely seeking a solution to the Palestinian issue. In fact, the Egyptian regime is an integral part of the occupation and its safety valve. Indeed, the Egyptian regime is the real “Iron Dome” that protects the occupation.
The real solution does not lie in empty statements, or reliance on the international order. The real solution lies in the mobilization of armies to liberate all of Palestine and truly support its people, removing all obstacles to this goal. Al-Quds will not be liberated by regimes that close crossings, protect borders with the usurped Islamic land, and prevent weapons from reaching the resistance. It will not regain its rights through international laws designed to protect the occupiers. It will only be liberated when the Ummah returns to its Deen and works to implement Islam in a single state, unifying behind a sincere leadership that restores its dignity and makes the liberation of Palestine a non-negotiable, vital issue.
The Islamic Ummah possesses more than thirteen million soldiers and has the wealth and military capabilities to crush the Jewish entity in a matter of days. However, the real obstacles to mobilizing these armies are the ruling regimes that colonialist powers established, after dismantling the Uthmani Khilafah (Ottoman Caliphate). These regimes have no role other than protecting Western interests, and ensuring the survival of the Jewish entity.
Therefore, the liberation of Palestine can only be achieved by liberating the Islamic capitals from these puppet regimes and establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) that reunifies the Ummah. When Muslims have a single Khaleefah (Caliph), he will mobilize the armies, just as Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi did when he liberated Al-Quds, and just as Al-Mu'tasim did when he mobilized an entire army to rescue a woman who called for his help.
O sincere soldiers of the Egyptian army: The regime’s adventurism and empty bravado consume your efforts, in what will not benefit you, either in this world or the hereafter. Instead, it prevents you from fulfilling your Shariah obligation to liberate the Blessed Land and support its people, a Shariah obligation for which you will be held accountable before Allah (swt) on the Day of Judgment. Prepare your answer to Allah (swt), or rid yourselves of this regime, disavow its corruption and subservience, and declare a state that implements Islam among you, and carries Islam as a risaalah (message) of guidance and light to the world. It is a state that drives you toward the Pleasure of Allah (swt) in this life and the hereafter, mobilizing you to liberate all Islamic lands, not just Palestine, and to support the oppressed within them. It is the Islamic State that pleases Allah Almighty, the Second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Allah (swt) says:
“And what is the matter with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and for the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?’” [TMQ Surah An-Nisaa 75].
