Coverage of Hizb ut Tahrir’s Global Activities on the 104th Anniversary of the Destruction of the Khilafah

On the 104th anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah, the calamities and disasters that Muslims are afflicted by, arrive one blow after another. The severe pain of labor is intensifying. The deep wound in the heart of our Ummah is bleeding. All this makes it clear, every day, that Muslims have lost the source of their pride and strength, through the absence of the Khilafah State. What is also clear is that there are those who are working hard on the political and intellectual path, following the example of the Noble Messenger (saw), to resume the Islamic way of life by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. They have pledged to Allah (swt), His Messenger (saw) and to their Ummah that they will not tire, nor grow weary, nor despair, nor betray the Method of the Prophethood, until Allah (swt) makes it manifest and grants it victory, or they perish in its path. Indeed, the members of Hizb ut Tahrir around the world have commemorated this painful anniversary through exceptional activities represented by protests, distinguished contacting, video messages, conferences, statements, and more.

On this painful anniversary, the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir launched a global campaign to provide comprehensive coverage of these events. The campaign was inaugurated by a speech by the Director of the Central Media Office, Engineer Salahuddin Adadah, in which he announced the campaign, “The Khilfah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood, Savior of the World and Humanity.”

The women’s section participated with a speech that declared: “No one will ensure our liberation from the usurper of our land, unify our lands, and raise our Rayah banner except the Khaleefah of the Muslims.” The speaker addressed the armies, saying: “When will you break those submissive chains? Why don’t you support them out of righteousness towards them, loyalty to your Deen, and to please your Lord?!”

The Central Media Office organized, via Al-Waqiyah TV, a global media conference entitled, “Constants on the Way to the Khilafah (Caliphate),” in which a group of Dawah carriers for the establishment of the Khilafah participated, hosted by Ustadh Adnan Mezian.

The first speech by Engineer Baher Saleh was titled “Until You Follow Their Way of Life.” The most important matter he raised was that the West will not accept, or be satisfied with, anything less than apostasy and denial of Islam. Its goal in Muslim countries can be summed up in two things: the first is to ensure that Islam does not return, and the second is to ensure that it remains a colonialist of our countries and a plunderer of our wealth.

The second speech was given by the honorable sister Rana Mustafa, entitled, “Minorities and Women’s Rights.” She said: “The West has realized the great status of women and their important role in building the family and society, so it has directed its arrows toward them.”

In the third speech by Ustadh Ahmed Al-Sufi, was entitled “Weakness within Deen and the Method of Gradualism,” he said: “The method of Prophethood does not include flattery, gradualism, weakness, or the concession of principles. Instead, the method of Prophethood is the complete ruling by Islam, upon the ruins of a vanished kufr rule.”

In the fourth speech of Ustadh Muhammad Al-Malkawi, entitled “The Khilafah (Caliphate) Alone is the Radical Solution,” he said: “For all of this, we will not cease to emphasize to the sons and youth of this Ummah that they must support us, and follow the path that we have drawn with insight, for serious work and continuous struggle in order to rebuild the strength of Islam.”

The closing speech was given by the Director of the Central Media Office, entitled “On the Brink of Establishing the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Path of Prophethood,” and he said: “An exceptional year has passed during which ash-Sham was engulfed by two floods, that were like wild horses that refuse to stop at borders. The Islamic Ummah seized hold of their reins and steered them, by Allah’s will, farther than their initiators had imagined.”

The Hizb published posts that lifted spirits and called on the people of strength and power, saying: “You must prepare to ward off domestic and foreign dangers to the Muslims and their countries. You must put in place the necessary domestic and foreign plans to deal with the dangers, and prepare for war if necessary. You must understand the domestic situation of the country, and the foreign environment, to deal with all the dangers to the country and its people.”

In the Blessed Land - Palestine: The Women’s Section of Hizb ut Tahrir presented a collection, of speeches, under different titles. Many speeches and dars masjid were organized in different regions. Khutbas of Jumuah were delivered about the painful anniversary.

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Jordan issued a press release entitled: “The Anniversary of the Destruction of the Khilafah (Caliphate) is Not for Mourning, But a Call for Serious Work to Restore It.”

In Kenya: As part of the 104th anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah, Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya carried out a public campaign in the month of Rajab 1446 AH. This campaign, which was launched at the beginning of the month, included wide-ranging activities, including public lectures, seminars, and protests.

As for Lebanon: Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Lebanon held a conference in Tripoli entitled: “Changes in ash-Sham… Concerns and Promises!” The conference revolved around several themes: “A political perspective in light of the changes” by Engineer Salah Eddine Adada; “You've Overthrown the Tyrant of Ash Sham so Establish the Islamic State” by Ust. Naser Sheikh Abdul Hai, member of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Syriah; “The Challenges of Emerging Entities” by Dr. Ahmed Al-Qasas, member of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir; “The changes and the Turkish role” by Ustadh Abdullah Imamoglu, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Turkey; “Rajab, the Ummah, and those working for its Salvation” by Ustadh Ahmed Al-Sufi, member of Hizb ut Tahrir; and the closing address by Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim, Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Lebanon.

As for Canada: Under the title “Removing Obstacles to the Establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) State,” the annual Khilafah Conference was supposed to be held on January 18 in Mississauga, Toronto. However, the Canadian government, in cooperation with America, launched a media and public campaign to dissuade those in charge from holding the conference. However on February 9, Hizb ut Tahrir / Canada held an online conference entitled “Eliminating the Obstacles that are Delaying its Return” successfully with speakers: Mazin Abdul-Adhim, Dr Gelani, and Abu Musa.

In Pakistan: The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Pakistan produced a new video series entitled “One Ummah, One Khilafah.”

In Sudan: Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan held its regular forum, the Ummah’s Issues Forum, to commemorate the anniversary of the destruction of the Khilafah under the title: “The Khilafah is the Ummah’s project for change; indeed, it is the crown of obligations.” They organized a series of video addresses to commemorate this painful anniversary.

The members of the Central Media Office, both brothers and sisters, also wrote many articles and news comments on the pages of the Central Media Office and Ar-Rayah Newspaper, reminding the Ummah of this tragedy, the necessity of working for it, and the prohibition of neglecting this great Shariah obligation.

Many newspapers and news agencies reported a lot of news about this campaign, especially regarding the cancellation of the conference that was scheduled to be held in Canada.

In conclusion: Hizb ut Tahrir warns those who stand in the way of the great flood of the Khilafah (Caliphate), and says to them: “If you do not take the Hereafter into account, and do not fear a Hellfire in which those who enter it will be given water like molten brass that will burn their insides, then know that whoever among you opposes the Khilafah, and stands up against it, will be held accountable by the Khilafah in this world. He will not find a roof to shelter him, even if there is between him and the Khilafah the distance of the two poles. So, will you not reflect?!”
