Dawah around the World:

Yearning for the Justice of Islam

Assalamu Alaikum... and welcome to today’s episode, ‘Yearning for the Justice of Islam’

Over the last few weeks the women’s section of Hizb ut Tahrir, Wilayah of Tunisia, ran a campaign entitled “The Women of Tunisia Reject the Hell of the Mandate [Guardianship] and Yearn for the Justice of Islam’.

It ended with a conference in which it explained the following:

The Capitalist system is responsible for the growing problems women face. Trying to build a life of tranquility and security has become so hard that the emotional and physical well-being of a woman is constantly compromised. The so called economic empowerment of women, championed by the west and obediently adopted by the Tunisian government, has only resulted in more responsibility for the woman... whereby she is burdened with earning for her family, rather than be cared for in time of need. The idea of gender equality has only served to distance her from the guardianship she is deserving of, according to Islam.

By their very nature secular laws do not put the interests of a person first. Rather than view an issue as a human problem, that requires a just and viable solution... secularism fulfills the Capitalist ideological agenda which is always to facilitate maximum economic benefit in any given situation, and at any cost!

Because of this, the natural and true rights that Allah ‎(swt) has bestowed on women, to be free of the worry of earning for the family, to be free of the worry of providing for herself if she is unmarried.. and to be able to focus her attention on nurturing the next generation of children with a tarbiyyah (or Islamic upbringing) befitting the Muslim... are all being compromised... and Tunisian society is in danger of falling into the social ills of the west.. due to this systemic attack on Islamic values.

The UN habitually employs NGO’s to serve their agenda of economic empowerment throughout the Muslim world, as a way to ensure that Capitalism and its secular, liberal ideology manifests in all area of society, to the exclusion of Islam from public life. Introducing backward and redundant ideas such as gender equality and feminism, along with seemingly innovative community projects and changes in law, only serve in the step by step dismantling of the family structure that is according to Islam. Thus creating a false reality in which women think they have been empowered but are actually overburdened, fulfilling the role of their husband and so increasingly absent in the lives of their children.

The Muslim Ummah, and Tunisia is part of it, is the best nation that has been brought out to mankind, no matter how bad its situation has become, and no matter how far the colonizer’s hand has reached within her, her struggle must rise from the great principle of Islam, the Deen which was chosen to us by Allah – The Victorious, The Mighty – and that the correct solutions to all man’s problems emanate from the Islamic creed, and rulings from The All-Knowing.

Men and women are committed helpers and partners of one another, who support each other’s roles via a clearly defined set of mutual duties and rights, according to the social and family rules of Islam - and we can never allow our Deen to be reformed and manipulated to serve the interests and greed of the imperialist west.

Allah swt says

“And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: “Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another” (Surah Al-e Imran ayah 195).

Until next time... JazakumAllah Khairan
