Opening of the Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan in Port Sudan
(Translated)

With the help and guidance of Allah, today, Sunday, the 7th of Ramadan 1445 Hijri, corresponding to the 17th of March, 2024, the Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan was inaugurated in Port Sudan (Al-Athmah neighborhood), southeast of the stadium. It will serve as a beacon for the dissemination of Islamic thought, a platform for Islamic culture, a center for political awareness, and a starting point for carrying the call to resume Islamic life by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the prophethood. This Khilafah (Caliphate) is the distinctive signpost in the Ummah's journey, as it faces crossroads burdened with heavy loads, burdened with wounds endured over a century under the rule of nationalistic regimes, the product of colonial infidelism (kufr) that corrupted belief, neglected Islamic rulings, violated the sanctities of Muslims and subjects of the state, leading to rivers of Muslim bloodshed, the loss of security, and the spread of poverty, injustice, and extortion. What is even more alarming is that our Ummah enters this crossroad, and the forces of darkness insist on leading us in the same direction, into the deep abyss—the hole that has bitten us time and time again.

It is incumbent upon us, as Muslims in the blessed month of Ramadan, the season of returning to Allah, to correct the course of our entire lives and nurture the steps towards the signpost of the second Khilafah Rashidah on the method of the Prophethood.

The opening of the Hizb's Office aims to acquaint people with the project of the Khilafah in systems of governance, economics, social affairs, education policy, and foreign policy. We eagerly await your honorable visits. Working towards the establishment of the Khilafah is an obligation upon all Muslims. Through it, the condition of all people will be rectified, fulfilling the promise of the Lord of the Worlds, glorified is He:

[وَعَدَ اللهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ]

“Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth” [Surat An-Nur:55]. And the beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» “Then there will be a Khilafah (caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood.”
