Obituary of a Dawah Carrier
[وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنَ الْخَوفْ وَالْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ الأَمَوَالِ وَالأنفُسِ وَالثَّمَرَاتِ وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ * الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُواْ إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ]
“We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Give good news to those who patiently endure” [Al-Baqara 2:155-156]

After being satisfied with the Qadaa of Allah (swt), Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan mourns with greater sadness the forgived one, Allah willing:

Sheikh Abdul-Fattah Othman Muhiyidin

Who passed away this inevitable fate on Wednesday morning, the 19th of Rajab 1445 AH, corresponding to the 31st of January 2024 CE, in the Wad al-Mahdi area in the east of Khartoum. We ask Allah Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy and forgiveness, and to make the highest paradise his abode and refuge.

The deceased was a beacon of activity and enthusiasm in carrying the Dawah to resume Islamic life by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood since the 1970s. His home was a haven for the dawah carriers. He faced arrests in the prisons of oppressors on the path of carrying the Dawah. His stances were honorable, and he remained steadfast despite the illness that incapacitated him in his final days.

Our sincere condolences to us Dawah carriers in his loss, and condolences are extended to his family, children, relatives, and acquaintances.

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” [Al-Baqara 2:156]
