Cowardly Traitors Shoot Dawah Carrier

Hizb ut Tahrir in Russia reported that on 15 September 2013 in Kizlyar, Republic of Dagestan at about 11 pm; Gapalov Abdulla, our brother and activist of Hizb ut Tahrir party, was shot by cowardly traitors.

(مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلًا)

"Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Of them some have fulfilled their obligations and some of them are still waiting, but they have never changed in the least." [33:23]

He was one of the most active carriers of the banner of dawah, the wise and steadfast in his position. Also he was anxious for the problems of the Ummah and led an active life in society. Allah takes the best. We are sad parting with him and at the same time are happy for his position.

Even more, this crime reveals Russian weakness and cowardice. After all they could oppose nothing against the man whose arms were only the word of truth. And they did not conjure up anything better than to physically eliminate him. Do such tyrants decide to solve the problem, is it possible to believe that in such a way they can stop the dawah? To think so, can be only those who do not have an ideology and have reactionary thinking. Murders have never stopped and will not stop Hizb ut Tahrir, on the contrary, the dawah will only increase, and Russia will certainly answer for their crimes. We do not require the criminals to punish other criminals. We will wait for the Khaleefah, when he comes and accounts for everything in full. We also promise that the dawah in Russia to continue with clarity, firmness and courage.

We express our condolences to Abdulla's family, relatives and friends, and we ask Allah (swt) to strengthen them with patience. We ask Allah (swt) that He gives His servant Great Grace and prepares for him a place in paradise with the Prophets, Companions, martyrs and righteous.

(إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ)

"Truly, to Allah we belong and truly to Him we shall return" [ 2:156 ]
