Assembly in support of the Islamic Ummah
(Translated)

08 February 2013, an assembly denouncing the foreign and domestic policies of Russia towards the Islamic Ummah took place in the city of Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan.

The protest was organized by the representatives of the public organization "The Union of the Just" and the Party of Ahl-Sunnah with the supervision from the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir. The meeting gathered approximately a thousand Muslims, who standing under the flags and banners of the Messenger of Allah called on the Russian authorities to stop anti-Islamic policies.

At the assembly were banners such as: "Muslims are tired of the tyranny of special services", "The ban of literature, the Hijab ban, the ban of Islam ..." Also, you can read words of solidarity with the people of Syria, "O noble people of Sham, your pain - it is our pain." Thus, Muslims protested the anti-Islamic actions of the Russian authorities, not only within the country but also condemned the position of Moscow in relation to the atrocities of Bashar Assad in Syria.

The Muslims living in this republic of the North Caucasus face the incredible evil from the armed forces of Russia for many years. Extrajudicial killings, inhumane tortures and abduction of Muslims, only on suspicion of supporting the so-called terrorism, have become everyday life of Dagestan. The relatives of innocent killed and disappeared, Muslims demanded punishment to all agents involved in these crimes.

By the end of the assembly, they adopted the resolution that listed all the claims against the local and federal authorities.

(وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَن يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ)
