Lenta.ru site reported on 30/07/2014 from the Russian Interfax news agency that the Moscow City Court sentenced four members of Hizb ut Tahrir. They are: Azizbek Inamov (age 37), Shamil Ismailov (age 40), Saypula Kurbanov (age 34), and Zikrullokhon Rakhmonkhodzhaev (age 38); whom were accused of terrorist activities that are banned on Russian territories.

On Sunday, 06 July 2014, police arrested two Shebaab of Hizb ut Tahrir from Mendibag area of Sylhet city in Bangladesh where they were distributing leaflets.
