Port Sudan Stand to Thwart the Darfur Secession Plan!

Responding with takbir, tahlil, and support, along with media and political mobilization, the stand held by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan to thwart the Darfur secession plan was held in front of the Grand Mosque in Port Sudan. Worshippers gathered after Friday prayers, 20 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH - 12 September 2025 CE, at the Grand Mosque in Port Sudan for the stand held by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan in front of the Grand Mosque as part of the party's campaign to thwart the Darfur secession plan.

During the stand, banners of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were raised in the sky, along with banners calling for the thwarting of the Darfur plan, working to unify the nation, establish the rule of Allah Almighty, and implement His Shariah by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) based on the method of the Prophethood.

The official spokesman for Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, Ibrahim Othman (Abu Khalil), delivered a speech to the audience, who responded with takbir and tahlil, rejecting this criminal plot. They affirmed their support for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, the establishment of its Deen, and the implementation of the law of its Lord, the Almighty.

He said:

"O people of Sudan: Rise up to thwart the plot, eradicate the influence of the agents and hypocrites, and correct your path in life. A believer is not stung twice by the same hole. We were stung by America's hole with its separation of South Sudan. Should we allow it to separate Darfur? Al-Bukhari and Muslim narrated on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (saw) said: لَا يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ وَاحِدٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ "A believer is not stung twice by the same hole.""

Several news websites reported on the protest, complete with photos. It also generated significant political and media engagement among political and media groups, generating political and media activity that brought the Darfur issue to the forefront of the nation's attention. Perhaps this will motivate the nation's loyalists, including scholars, politicians, media professionals, and army officers, to thwart this criminal plot.

We ask Allah Almighty to unite the Muslim Ummah and unify its word to establish its religion in the Islamic State, the Rightly-Guided Caliphate, based on the Prophet's teachings. This alone can thwart the schemes of the kaffir (diselievers) colonialists.
