The Thirty-Ninth Year, Muharram 1446 AH corresponding to August 2024

Yusuf Abu Islam, the Blessed Land of Palestine

The blood of Muslims continues to flow in the land of Gaza. Cries for help continue to be heard from the throats of men, women, and children. This destruction, these torn bodies, and these cries are enough to move the steadfast mountains. So why haven’t they moved the armies of the Ummah, and its lively forces, even though these horrific massacres have been going on for over ten months?

O People of Power and Protection!

Allah (swt) has tested you by making you the shield of the Ummah, its striking force, and its protective wall. So why have you sat idly by and not supported your people in Gaza, while you see a handful of Jews oppressing them without fear or dread?! If you were to take decisive action and storm their fortifications, they wouldn’t last an hour before you. You witnessed on 7th October how a small group of believers, with their simple equipment, stormed their fortifications. They fled before them like little birds in terror, at the bravery they saw in your brothers.

So what if your brothers were accompanied by an army from the surrounding countries? Do you think they would stop at the borders of Gaza, or would they continue marching towards Al-Quds to wash away the shame of its abandonment over the years?!!

O People of Power and Protection!

Why are your emotions not stirred when you see the scattered bodies, the burnt corpses, and the occupation’s bulldozers drag the bodies of your brothers, like heaps of garbage, without respect or consideration for the sanctity of dead?!!

Why are your emotions not stirred when you hear the cries of women and their pleas for help?! Do you not long for history to remember you as it remembers Al-Mu'tasim, Salah al-Din, Qutuz, and Baybars?!

O People of Power and Protection!

Are you not afraid that your Lord will question you about your abandonment of your people in Gaza? The Messenger of Allah (saw) said, «ما من امرئ يخذل امرءًا مسلمًا في موطن يُنتقص فيه من عرضه وينتهك فيه من حرمته، إلا خذله الله تعالى في موطن يحب فيه نصرته، وما من أحد ينصر مسلمًا في موطن ينتقص فيه من عرضه وينتهك فيه من حرمته، إلا نصره الله في موطن يحب فيه نصرته» “There is no Muslim who forsakes another Muslim in a place where his dignity is violated, and his honor attacked, but Allah will forsake him in a place where he wishes for His help. There is no Muslim who supports another Muslim in a place where his dignity is violated and his honor attacked, but Allah will support him in a place where he wishes for His support” (Reported by Ahmad).

What excuse will you have tomorrow when your Lord asks you about your sitting idle, and your disregard in supporting them?!! Will you say: “The orders of the rulers restrained us”? Have you not read in the Book of your Lord about the condition of the followers and the followed, and about the state of those who obey the orders of the misleading rulers where He says,

“They will say: ‘Our Lord, we obeyed our leaders and our chiefs, and they misled us from the (right) path. Our Lord, give them double the punishment and curse them with a great curse!’” [TMQ Surah Al-Ahzab 33:67-68]. Have you not read in the Book of your Lord His saying,

“Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed: ‘Did we prevent you from guidance after it came to you? Nay, but you were criminals.’ And those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant: ‘Instead, it was your plotting by day and by night, commanding us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute equals to Him.’ And they will conceal their remorse when they see the punishment, and we will put iron collars around the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be rewarded except for what they used to do?" [TMQ Surah Saba 34:32-33]?!

O People of Power and Protection:

Allah (swt) has forbidden you from abandoning your brothers while you see them crying out to you for help. So how is it that you sleep at night, and enjoy food and drink, while your brothers in Gaza cry out from hunger, one of them wishing for a morsel of food, or a sip of water?!

Have you not heard the story of Sa'id ibn Amir (ra), when he witnessed the execution of Khubaib ibn ‘Adi in Mecca, the day the disbelievers of Mecca crucified him before the eyes and ears of its people, in revenge for their dead in Badr? Sa’id ibn Amir was present at that scene and was still a disbeliever, and after Allah (swt) granted him Islam, whenever he remembered the execution of Khubaib ibn ‘Adi, he would faint, as if he were epileptic. When ‘Umar (ra) asked him about this fainting, saying: يا سعيد، ما هذا الذي يصيبك؟“O Sa’id, what is this that happens to you?” He replied, واللهِ يا أمير المؤمنين، ما بي من بأس؛ ولكني كنت فيمن حضر خبيب بن عدي حين قتل، وسمعت دعوته، فواللهِ ما خطرت على قلبي وأنا في مجلس قط إلا غشي عليَّ“By Allah, O Commander of the Faithful, there is nothing wrong with me; but I was among those who witnessed the killing of Khubaib ibn 'Adi, and I heard his supplication, and by Allah, whenever it crosses my mind, I faint.”

By Allah, O Soldiers of Jordan and Egypt:

How is it that you are not seized by fainting as Sa’id ibn Amir was, while you see the scattered bodies, the burnt corpses, the destruction, and the ruin?!

By Allah, answer us: How do you sleep at night, while the cries of women deafen the ears, as they curse those who abandoned them and failed to support them?!

O People of Power and Protection in the Egyptian, Jordanian, Pakistani, and Algerian Armies:

How long will you live in this world? A hundred years, or less or more? Then what after this life? Will you not die and be buried, and will the two angels not come to you and ask you, so what will you answer? Who will answer for you? Who will defend you? Your medals? Or your leaders whom you obeyed more than you obeyed your Lord (swt)?

There in the depths of the grave, you will remember all that you did, you will remember your failure to support the oppressed in the land of Al-Ribat. You will regret when regret will not benefit you, so why do you not save yourselves today before it is too late?

Do you not know and believe that death is certain? Do you not believe that no soul shall die except at its appointed time? So why don’t you be with the master of martyrs, Hamza (ra)? Why don’t you rush to give Nussrah to those working for the return of the Khilafah, so that you may be like the two Sa’ds, Sa’d ibn Mu’adh and Sa’d ibn ‘Ubadah?

O People of Power and Protections in the Armies of the Ummah:

You certainly know with certainty that the future belongs to this Deen. You also know that Allah supports those who support His cause, and that Allah (swt) replaces those who turn away from supporting His Deen, as He (swt) said,

“If you turn away, He will replace you with another people, and they will not be like you.” [TMQ Surah Muhammad 47:38].

So why do you not rush to this great honor, to support your Lord so that you become the new Ansar (supporters) of this Deen as the Ansar from Aws and Khazraj were?! This is your opportunity, which may not come again, so seize it and put your trust in Allah, your Lord (swt). Your Ajl (life span) and your Rizq (provision) are in the Hands of Allah (swt) Alone, Who created you. So do not fear your rulers, for they have no power over your affairs except what Allah (swt) has decreed for you.

So settle your affairs, overthrow your rulers, and set forth with the blessing of Allah (swt). You will see the entire Ummah marching with you. Know that when Allah (swt) wills to grant victory to His servants and allies, He sends forth those worthy of this good, so be those worthy of it and its men.

It is mentioned in the books of Seerah,

“When Allah wanted to make His Deen dominate, honor His Prophet and fulfill His promise to him, the Messenger of Allah (saw) went out during the season of Hajj and presented himself to the tribes of Arabia as he did every season. While he was at ‘Aqaba, Allah led a group of the Khazraj to him, intending good for them, and they were the first to accept this light, which Allah decreed should be from Medina.” So why don't you be the vanguard of this light?!

In conclusion, we address you with the words of our Lord (swt) in His Noble Book,

“O you who believe! Respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life...” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfal 8:24].

I ask Allah (swt) to open your hearts to this call, to turn your hearts towards supporting His Deen, and to use you in the restoration of the promised Khilafah (Caliphate) anew, for that is not difficult for Allah (swt).
