The Treacherous Meeting with the Jewish Foreign Minister

News surfaced about a meeting lasting approximately two hours between the Libyan Foreign Minister Najla El Mangoush and the Foreign Minister of the Jewish entity in Rome. When the matter came to light, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah issued an order suspending Najla El Mangoush from her duties in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following the spread of this news, people gathered in protest against this treacherous meeting with the Jewish enemy. They condemned this meeting, which appeared to be a form of normalization with the occupying entity of Palestine, seen as a treacherous act of surrendering Palestine by publicly relinquishing it to the Jews. It's worth noting that this surrender has been ongoing for decades, and we cannot forget the pilgrimage to Jerusalem in 1993, which took place during Gaddafi's rule in the last century. It was the regime's first move to break the psychological barrier within the Muslim Ummah regarding the occupier of Palestine.

It is well-known that the kufar (disbelieving) countries, led by America and along with them, Britain, are the ones manipulating their local tools in the eastern and western parts of the country. They are pushing these conflicting elements towards rapprochement with the usurping Jewish entity in Palestine. Kufr is one religion, and their loyalty leads to humiliation in this world and disgrace. Their crime is indeed great, and its perpetrator will face punishment in both this world and the Hereafter. The Mighty and Powerful says:

[سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا صَغَارٌ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَمْكُرُونَ]

“There will afflict those who committed crimes debasement before Allah and severe punishment for what they used to conspire.” [Al-An'am:124].

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Libya, while strongly condemning this normalization act and this behavior, which is religiously (Shari’) prohibited and considered one of the major sins to accept and be content with, we consider all of this extremely dangerous, particularly the explicit surrender of the sacred land to the usurping enemy, the Jews. This constitutes an attempt to obscure the Sharia rule that every Muslim knows, which is that Palestine is a blessed Islamic land, as indicated by the texts of Divine Revelation that have come from above the seven heavens. Allah, the Almighty, said:

[سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلاً مِّنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ]

“Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed.” [Al-Isra:1].

Liberating it from the usurping enemy is a duty upon all Muslims, especially those who possess the strength in the Muslim lands. The obligation upon them is even more stringent.

O Muslims in Libya and elsewhere, what our country is witnessing necessitates the urgent fulfillment of this Shari’ duty: the reestablishment of Islamic life by establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood in the lands of the Muslims. Through this, you can work towards liberating the lands and people from the domination of the disbelievers in Palestine and other Muslim lands. You, O Muslims, have no choice but to join the ranks of those working with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the imminent Khilafah Rashidah, with the will of the Almighty, to free the nation from the grasp of these puppet rulers supported by the West.

Allah, the Almighty, said:

[وَقُلِ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَرَسُولُهُ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَسَتُرَدُّونَ إِلَى عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ]

“And say, "Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger and the believers. And you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do.” [At-Tawba:105].
