[وإِنِ اسْتَنصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ]

“And if they seek your help for the Deen, then it is your obligation to help them.” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfal: 72]

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ]

“And if they seek your help for the Deen, then it is your obligation to help them, except against a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty. And Allāh is Seeing of all that you do.” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfal: 72]

This is an address from Allah (swt) to Muslims regarding the Shariah obligation to support Muslims who are under the authority of kufr and kafir entities who have not migrated to the Abode of Islam (Dar ul Islam), whether by preventing the performance of their religious rituals or by oppressing them.

So, what about the Shariah ruling regarding those who have been taken captive, and the kuffar occupy part of the Abode of Islam?

The Shariah obligation to rescue them is more binding and more severe, just as the Shariah obligation to help the people of Palestine by mobilizing armies.

If it is said, as the government scholars of evil say, that they have established a covenant and pact between us and them, the response to them is that these agreements are invalid in Shariah, devoid of Shariah value and weight, because the current treaties with the Jews acknowledge their occupation of the land of the Israa and Mi’raj.

This is forbidden by Shariah Law, and it is forbidden to abide by these contracts. The Shariah ruling remains clear and unequivocal, which is the obligation to mobilize armies.
