On July 9, 2024, the Office of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) published a report in which the 3-year performance of the Afghan government regarding ‘human rights’ has been inspected. In this 30-page report, UNAMA has strongly condemned and criticized the activities of the Ministry of Propagation of Virtue and Prohibition of Vice, calling its practices a violation of human rights.
