Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia Liberation March

[مَا لَكُمْ إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمُ انفِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ اثَّاقَلْتُمْ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ]

"O Armies, What is the matter with you that when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah you cling heavily to the earth?"

On March 28, 2025 CE corresponding to the 28th of Ramadan 1446 AH, following Friday prayers, a march by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia set out from the Al-Fath Mosque in support of Gaza against the American-Zionist aggression. The march was called for by the people of Zaytouna Tunis. A large crowd of people from Green Tunisia attended the march, during which banners were raised. The main banner read, "O Armies (What is the matter with you that when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah you cling heavily to the earth)?"... In condemnation of the military court's arrest of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia member Muhammad al-Nasser al-Shuwaikha, who criticized the military maneuvers held in Tunisia with the American enemy, two banners were raised. The first read, "To the Military Court in Tunis: Criticizing the military maneuvers with the American enemy is not an accusation." The other read, "To the Military Court in Tunis: Release those who supported Gaza." Dozens of banners were also raised calling for support for the Muslim armies. In Muslim lands, to support their brothers in Palestine, the march began with takbir and tahlil, and toured the main streets of the capital leading to Revolution Street. It concluded with a speech delivered by a Hizb ut Tahrir member, reminding the Muslim armies of the necessity of supporting their brothers in Palestine after the overthrow of the thrones of the oppressive rulers.

This march comes after the resumption of the war of extermination against our brothers and sisters in Gaza, to confirm that Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Tunisia is committed to the people of Palestine and that it will continue its call to establish the rule of Islam by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophethood, the promise of Allah Almighty and the glad tidings of His Noble Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
