2023 03 04 SDN QDYA PNL PIC

Under the title: “Why are the Rulers So Quick to Implement Secularism and Disastrous Prescriptions?!" the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan held the Ummah’s Issues Forum for the month of March on Saturday, 3 March 2023, in which the following speakers spoke:Engineer Ahmed Jaafar - Member of Hizb ut Tahrir, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahman - Member of Hizb ut Tahrir and the Platform Officer was Ustaadh Khaled Abdullah - Member of Hizb ut Tahrir.

The first speaker, Engineer Ahmed Jaafar, explained that secularism means separating religion from the state, and it contradicts Islam altogether and in detail. It empowers the colonial states in our country and helps them sow strife, tear the country apart and plunder wealth, and that it is the cause of conflict in Sudan, and that it allows the intervention of the Kuffar and their colonial states, the lawlessness of the country and looting. Its wealth is employed by the politicians, and he gave an example that the United Nations Mission is the de facto ruler today in Sudan.

The second speaker, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahman, spoke about disastrous prescriptions and asked: Where did secularism lead us to in the economic aspect? He stressed that the effects of applying secular systems are clearly visible, especially in the economic aspect like economic stagnation, and the outrageous high prices that made more than 60% of the people of Sudan poor, and that the 2023 budget brought new disasters, including customs increases that amounted to more than 40%, and there are increases in the bill for residential drinking water and factories, with increased documentation of identification papers and certificates.

Dr. Muhammad emphasized that these prescriptions of taxes and levies led to the closure of factories, with the systematic destruction of the agricultural and industrial sector, with the state presenting huge productive projects to capitalist companies affiliated with colonial countries in clear complicity to plunder wealth with attempts by the government to privatize education, health and others to hand them over to the private sector. Or what is called foreign investment.

In the interaction segment, a number of politicians, scholars, media figures, and those interested in public affairs participated in the discussion, interventions, and comments in the hall. Questions and inquiries were also received from followers of the pages of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan via social media.
