After the series of bomb blasts in Lahore, Hizb ut-Tahrir made it clear to the Ummah that, similar to the past, these blasts are being conducted to build public opinion for another military operation. Alas! This came true and the killing in Orakzai agency has already started.

After the announcement of Obama's visit to Indonesia, Hizb ut Tahrir announced the launch furious political campaign against his visit. On 14th of March 2010, Hizb mobilized thousands of demonstrators and held demonstrations all over Indonesia. Also Hizb ut Tahrir announced that on behalf of Ummah, Hizb will slap Obama in the face through a large demonstration at the US consulate during his visit to Indonesia.

The rulers are so perplexed at Hizb ut-Tahrir's intellectual and political struggle and its growing influence in the society that they have started to portray Hizb as a terrorist organization by pushing baseless and false news reports in the media. On the 7th of March 2010, various T.V. channels aired the news that eight activists of Hizb ut-Tahrir carrying arms have been arrested in Karachi.

According to American Congress's budget documents for the year 2011, American government has allocated 23 million dollars for stationing its troops as "Quick Reaction Force" (QRF), under the guise of protecting American embassy and consulate in Pakistan.
