Hizb ut Tahrir /Indonesia to file suit documents to lift the ban imposed on Hizb ut Tahrir at the Administrative Court (PTUN) in East Jakarta

Hundreds of Muslim scholars and students join Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia to file suit documents to lift the ban imposed on Hizb ut Tahrir at the Administrative Court (PTUN) in East Jakarta.

Chanting Sholawat Asyghil, Hundreds of Ulamas and Muslim Students Join HTI to Submit the Documents of Conclusion of Lawsuit in Adminstrative Court

The atmosphere became very calm and heroic when hundreds of Islamic scholars, ulemas, students and muslin activists from various regions chanted Shalawat Asyghil walking along the streets to the Administrative Court (PTUN). They showed solidarity and support to Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) Spokesman Muhammad Ismail Yusanto who handed over the conclusion of the lawsuit on Thursday (19/4) at the Administrative Court, East Jakarta.

At the same time, the government (the defendant) submitted the file of the conclusion of the rebuttal. But unfortunately, the government supporters were very few and outnumbered by the  supporters of HTI. The government supporters wearing red-colored T-shirt and the unveiled women seemed to be unable to move and could only smile when they were 'trapped' among the ulemas and Islamic students.

When asked why he came all the way from Malang (a city in East Java) to attend the trial, KH Bahron Kamal replied.

"This is a call of faith, it is a defense, because the teachings of Islam especially those preached by Hizb ut-Tahrir are defamed by the government and by other parties who are unhappy with Islam. So, this is an opportunity to defend the religion of Allah, to defend the party that fights for the religion of Allah, which enforces the Shari'ah of Allah, upholds the institution of Khilafah which was passed on by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, "said the Caregiver of Majelis Taklim wal Dzikir Ihyaul Qulub Singosari, Malang

Kiai Bahron hoped this lawsuit was won by the Hizbut Tahrir so that Hizb ut-Tahrir can carry out his da'wah activities that have been felt by the public.

"I see ulemas from different regions including East Java giving strong support in the struggle of Hizb ut Tahrir so that I hope with this victory, Hizb ut Tahrir will be free to preach and even become stronger to embrace the ummah," he concluded. (Maktab I'lami. Indonesia)
