Aleppo's Victory Should Not Be Sacrificed to Normalization with the Regime

The Syrian army has acknowledged that the opposition controls "a large part" of Aleppo. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced today that the Syrian opposition has taken control of "most of" Aleppo, Russian warplanes have carried out airstrikes on the city's neighborhoods for the first time since 2016, and the Syrian army has admitted that the opposition controls "most of" the city. The Syrian mujahideen groups, which have been subject to the Deconfliction Agreement signed between Turkey, Russia and Iran since 2020, launched a major attack against the Assad regime forces from the western parts of Aleppo on November 27 morning.

The opponents, fighting under the banner of the Military Operations Command consisting of 13 different groups, managed to capture Aleppo, Syria's second largest city, by advancing from the besieged area in Idlib in less than three days. In 2016, Aleppo was handed over to the regime as a result of a dirty plot, and hundreds of thousands of Muslims were put on green buses and exiled from their homes. Some of those Muslims who have returned to their homes and lands with takbirs of victory. After 8 years in Aleppo Castle, the flag of Tawhid was waved again.

There is no doubt that this victory over the oppressors was welcomed with joy by every Muslim who felt himself to belong to the Ummah. This victory has relieved the hearts of Muslims in the midst of the dereliction in Gaza. The enemies of Islam, who forced the Syrian people to surrender by lying that Assad had won the war, expressed great regret for this operation. The recapture of the ancient Islamic city of Aleppo within a few days also revealed an important fact: when Muslims go on jihad relying on Allah, there is no force that can stand against them. As a matter of fact, Russia, Iran and the Syrian regime could not stand up to the mujahideen. The fact that these countries are currently in a weak military and political situation will not change this fact.

The fact that the Syrian revolution has survived for years despite the US-led global coalition and the traitors inside is the most concrete example of this. What kills Muslims is betrayal and shortsightedness. If it had been acted with political prudence, if the doors had been closed to the deceptive assistance of friendly-looking states, if the ceasefire traps had not been set, the regime would have been destroyed already. If the groups had given the revolution a political leadership, if they had taken seriously the calls made by Hizb utTahrir throughout the revolution, the Caliphate State in Syria would have been established by the permission of Allah. Now, this opportunity, which has been seized again after many years, should be utilized. It is vital to be aware against the US exploiting the Aleppo victory to bring the criminal Assad regime to the table, especially Turkey's statements that this operation on Aleppo "should serve normalization", which has great influence on opposition groups.

Because Turkey seems to support the opposition on the one hand, on the other hand, it is laying the stones for normalization with the regime by cooperating with the United States and Russia. He had done the same thing when Aleppo fell; with the Euphrates Shield Operation, he had prepared the ground for the regime to capture Aleppo by removing the mujahideen from their positions under the pretext of the war on terror. Former Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu admitted this fact as follows: "We have planned the Euphrates Shield Operation with the United States since the beginning". Turkey, by signing the "operational mechanism" and "train-equip" projects with the United States much earlier, divided the mujahideen, preparing them for the idea of a "democratic Syria" by distancing them from the idea of Islamic order. It was revealed today that all this work is being done to protect the cruel Assad and to end the Syrian revolution by normalizing with him. The cruel Assad gradually became "Dear Assad".

The government in Turkey is also calculating to benefit racist opposition voters by sending Syrian immigrants in the country to Aleppo. Therefore, while we rejoice at the recapture of Aleppo, these political realities should not be ignored. The importance of jihad in the way of Allah, is as important as knowing the enemy and being watchful against traps. Another fact is that the basic element that guides the weapon and ensures its use against the right targets is the idea. A weapon without ideas becomes guidance and light when used foresight, just as it will trap its owners and delight the enemy.

Aleppo has been liberated, but Palestine and Gaza are still sad. Al-Aqsa Mosque is still under the occupation of the Jewish presence. This war must continue until Damascus and then Palestine are returned to Islam. All those who try to draw boundaries for the Mujahideen should be eliminated first, dirty aid should be rejected, Nusrat and victory should be expected only from Allah by returning to the constants of the Syrian revolution. ‏«لاَ يُلْدَغُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنْ جُحْرٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ»

“(Intelligent and mature) A believer is not stung twice from the same hole.” (Bukhari and Muslim)
