‘Concern for Minority’ is a Cheap Manipulation Tool of the Secular Rulers
News:
Former US President Donald Trump has strongly condemned the violence against minorities in Bangladesh while criticizing his rival Joe Biden- Kamal Harris administration in a Diwali message. “I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos,” Trump wrote in X, formerly Twitter. “It would have never happened on my watch,” he wrote. Comment:
Donald Trump’s remark about Bangladesh came at a time when the country is facing severe economic and political setbacks caused by secular interest-driven politics (which is decisively proven incompetent as a ruling system) and meddling by the USA-UK-India nexus for their vested geopolitical tug of war over the spoils of Bangladesh. However, several points need to be noted in this regard. Firstly, the claim of Hindus, Christians, and other minorities getting attacked and looted by the Muslim mobs in Bangladesh is a misrepresentation of facts. There are some reported cases of attack and looting, but all of the incidents were done against the beneficiaries of around two decades of oppression and misrule by the fallen Hasina Government, of whom very few were against the minorities. Secondly, this remark is part of the concerted propaganda that Hindutva India hatched after the fall of her puppet government in Bangladesh on August 5, 2024 and due to a solid prospect of rise of Islam in Bangladesh. And thirdly, Trump’s claim, ‘It would have never happened on my watch’, is a hollow rhetoric and without any semblance of evidence. Trump sounds as if the US presidents are the custodian of oppressed people all over the world; however, it’s completely opposite and they are the cause of all the mischiefs all over the world. Allah (swt) says in the Glorious Quran:
[وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا تُفْسِدُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ قَالُوا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ * أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَكِنْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ]
“And when it is said to them: "Make not mischief/corruption on the earth," they say: "We are only peacemakers." Verily! They are the ones who make mischief, but they perceive not. [Al-Baqara: 11-12].
Although, the Hindutva India has been drumming false alarms regarding the minorities in Bangladesh after August 5, in reality it is a dirty game of Indian secular establishment to salvage the fall of Hasina. With the sudden fall of Hasina, India was on the verge of losing control in Bangladesh due to a sever shake and displacement of her agents in ruling, bureaucracy and intelligentsia in Bangladesh. It’s a clear fact that the minorities were never safe in India under the secular rulers of India (Muslims in Modi’s India: The marginalised minority). The lower cast Hindus like Dalits are also being persecuted for long in India (‘Does a Dalit’s life have no value?’: The murder of a teenage girl in India). It is also true for the USA (Anti-Muslim discrimination in US rose 56% from 2022). In secular capitalist politics, ‘concern for minority’ is indeed a cheap manipulation tool for the rulers, who use this trump-card in case of occasional needs; like, national election or geopolitical bargain.
Minorities were never safe under secular ruling system, only Islamic ruling system provided them with protection for their lives, properties and honour. The 1400-year history of Islamic Caliphate (Khilafah) is packed with incidents and evidences of this. To be frank, there is no majority-minority concept in Islamic Caliphate, rather all were considered as citizens and enjoyed equal rights as citizens. Allah (swt) says:
"O you who have believed, do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just, that is nearer to righteousness" [Al-Maeda:8]. The non-Muslim citizens are considered as Dhimmi (people of the covenant) and they get special privilege in terms of protection. Our beloved Messenger (saw) said:
«مَنْ قَذَفَ ذِمِّيًّا حُدَّ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسِياطٍ مِنْ نَارٍ، فَقُلْتُ لِمَكْحُولٍ: مَا أَشَدُّ مَا يُقَالُ، قَالَ: يُقَالُ لَهُ:يَا ابْنَ الْكَافِر»ِ
Indeed, whoever kills a person who is granted the pledge of protection (Mu’ahid) that has a covenant of Allah (swt) and a covenant from His Messenger (saw), then he has violated the covenant with Allah and the covenant of His Messenger. So, he shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise even though its fragrance can be smelled from a distance of seventy Autumns (At-Tirmidhi, also in Bukhari with a different wording). Only the establishment of the righteous Caliphate on the method of the Prophethood will ensure justice to all races and religion and thwart the attempts of Modi, Trump and their likes to use minority card for their evil interests.
