President Erdoğan continues to send warm messages of friendship to "Assad, the Butcher of Damascus" who has slaughtered, persecuted and committed genocide against nearly one million Muslims in Syria and made a refugee of almost the entire country.

On July 3, President Erdoğan held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, where he went for the 24th Heads of State Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and after the meeting, he emphasized that Turkey was determined not to establish a terrorist state just beyond its borders, and emphasized the importance of taking concrete steps to end the instabilities that create favorable areas for terrorist organizations, especially the Syrian civil war, and said that Turkey was ready to cooperate for a solution.

Likewise, a week ago, Erdoğan stated that "there is no reason why Turkey and Syria should not re-establish diplomatic relations, and that they will act together in the same way as we have acted together in the past." In addition, Erdoğan said, "In the past, we have had these meetings with Mr. Assad, even to the point of family meetings. It is absolutely not possible that it will not happen tomorrow" and extended an olive branch to the Assad regime, the murderer of the Syrian people.

Emphasizing their desire to bring Turkey-Syria relations to the point they were in the past on the return of the Turkey-Netherlands match played in Germany, Erdoğan stated that they could extend an invitation for a possible meeting with Assad "at any moment" and said, "Now we have come to such a point that as soon as Bashar al-Assad takes a step towards restoring relations with Turkey, we will show that approach towards him. Because we were not enemies with Syria yesterday, we were meeting with Assad as a family". He said. Regarding this invitation, according to the Presidential Communications Directorate, Erdoğan stated that a possible invitation could be extended at any time and that Russia and Iraq show an approach in this regard.

President Erdoğan's steps towards normalization with Syria are part of the American plan, which he is orbiting. Erdoğan's referring to Assad as a murderer until recently as yesterday and now calling him Mr. Assad is a great betrayal. It is probably only a matter of time before he calls Assad his friend in the coming days. In fact, we should not be surprised if he calls Netanyahu, the butcher of Gaza, who has committed a great massacre in Gaza, his friend Netanyahu in the future. Because Erdoğan is a highly opportunistic and self-interested person. There is no idol he will not eat in the name of realpolitik. He has made concession after concession in the name of realizing American interests in the region and protecting his own power. He has completely lost his ideas and emotions. He is no different from a living dead. The Ansar-Muhajir brotherhood, which he once constantly kept on the agenda and talked about in purple prose, has no meaning or concept anymore. He deceived his brothers with this pompous language for many years. He sold his brothers for a small price in order to please the opposition parties, secularist and Kemalist circles who were uncomfortable with the presence of Syrian Muslims in Turkey. Now he is about to throw the Syrian Muslims he calls his brothers into the arms of Assad, the Butcher of Damascus. The racist attacks against Syrian Muslims in Kayseri and some other cities are an indication of this.

In fact, this latest betrayal by President Erdoğan is not new. It has continued uninterruptedly since the beginning of the revolution in Syria in 2011. Sometimes this betrayal has been revealed through some military operations against Syria, and sometimes betrayal meetings have continued behind closed doors. Erdoğan has never taken sides with the Syrian Muslims, on the contrary, he has always taken sides with the kafir and oppressor states that conspired against the revolution and the uprising. In fact, Erdoğan has sold both his world and his hereafter with these steps he has taken. Let it be known that the Muslims and the Almighty Allah (swt) will never forget these crimes of Erdoğan and those like him, their collaboration with the oppressors and unbelievers, and their betrayal of the Ummah.
