Show of Solidarity in Malaysia as the Situation in Gaza Worsens
News:
The situation in Gaza is becoming increasingly dire. The illegal Jewish entity continues its attacks, resulting in a death toll that has now reached 37,000, with over 82,000 injured. It is widely known that there are no truly safe places left for Gaza's residents to seek refuge from the assaults by the illegal Jewish entity. Nearly all Muslims in Gaza are now forced to flee their homes, seeking shelter as far south as Rafah, near the Egyptian border. Despite the United Nations issuing a resolution calling for a ceasefire, the Jewish entity continues its relentless attacks. In view of the dire situation faced by Muslims in Gaza and Palestine in general, Hizb ut Tahrir Malaysia organized peaceful demonstrations in front of the Egyptian, Jordanian and American embassies on the 14th and 21st of June, standing in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Palestine. The demonstrations were organized to pressure Egypt and Jordan to dispatch armies to stop the genocide and to warn the Americans of the upcoming punishment by the emerging Khilafah (Caliphate).
Comment:
Currently, approximately 1.7 million Gaza residents are crowded into just one-fifth of the southern Gaza Strip's area. This region, designated for humanitarian purposes, still lacks basic necessities, and thousands of Gazans continue to be mercilessly killed by the occupying forces. At the same time, the US continues to focus on countries surrounding the Jewish entity to ensure their militaries do not intervene in the Gaza conflict. The US is aware of the fragile situation, which could change unexpectedly at any time. This genocide has persisted for eight months, yet the illegal Jewish entity, with full US support, has yet to achieve its goals and is faced with tough resistance from the under-equipped Muslim fighters in Gaza. Imagine what would happen if the militaries of Muslim nations neighbouring Palestine intervened to defend the Gazans! However, it is most disheartening that compared to the actions of a significant portion of Western society, the response of Muslims to the genocide in Gaza is at best, lukewarm. In truth, Muslims should manifest a greater defense for Gaza's Muslims. This is because the people of Gaza are their brethren in faith, and Gaza is part of Muslim land. The most crucial action Muslims worldwide should take is to pressure their rulers, especially those near Palestine, to promptly send military forces to defend and protect the Muslims of Palestine, while also continuing to make dua. History demonstrates how past caliphs and warriors defended Muslims with military strength, resolving such issues decisively. Today, Muslims direly need an 'Al Mu'tasim' who will command his army to defend the Muslims.
In line with the memorandum delivered to the embassies of Egypt and Jordan, Muslims worldwide, particularly in Malaysia, must undertake the following actions as significant efforts in addition to other ongoing efforts:
1. Urge the Muslim militaries and continuously pressure Muslim leaders, particularly in Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey to mobilize their armies. These leaders must free themselves from US influence and cease being its puppets, betraying Muslims. These treacherous leaders witness first-hand the genocide of Gazans, hear their cries, and see their expulsion and the suffering of their children and women. Urge them to deploy Muslim armies to rescue Gaza's Muslims from genocide, free Palestine and free themselves from US political games.
2. Call on the leaders to act decisively by dispatching the armies and strongly pressure their counterparts to mobilize Muslim forces to Palestine. Enough of being passive spectators and blind followers of the US, resulting in inaction in saving Muslims of Palestine. It is time for Muslim leaders worldwide, including Malaysia, to stop ignoring Palestine, which has been stripped of its dignity and honour since 1948.
3. Urge religious scholars to issue fatwas of jihad to defend Palestine. These scholars' calls are to remind and pressure leaders to take practical actions and lead Muslims to rise and take effective steps to end the suffering and killings in Palestine.
4. Call on all Muslims through political parties, non-governmental organizations, or individuals to take more practical actions together with sincere scholars to defend Gaza's Muslims. These include demonstrating at the embassies of Muslim-majority countries near Palestine to pressure their leaders to sever ties with the US and its allies. Urge Muslims to rise and apply any form of pressure, within the bounds of Sharia, continuously, especially on the Arab and Turkish leaders until they mobilize their armies to defend Palestine's Muslims.
Muslims must act to manifest the true solution to resolve the Gaza conflict, which is Jihad fi Sabilillah. If the Muslims leaders continue to be complacent, their fall will be imminent and the coming Khilafah will undeniably declare Jihad against the condemned Jewish entity!
