Democracy Ensures Laws like FATF, that Undermine our Security for the Sake of Colonialist Interests
News:
On Wednesday, 16th September 2020, the PTI government managed to pass eight important bills, including three related to the colonialist Financial Action Task Force (FATF). The bills were passed in a joint sitting of parliament. The FATF-related bills were rejected in the opposition-dominated Senate but were given approval in a joint session of Parliament as some three dozen opposition members failed to show up.
Comment:
Pakistan was placed on the “Grey List” by the FATF in June 2018 and continues to be in the list. Pakistan has failed to comply with the tasks given by the FATF to stop terror financing. The PTI regime has been busy introducing bills for approval from the Parliament to satisfy the FATF. The regime did so even though the US is using the FATF regime to cut all support to the freedom fighters in Occupied Kashmir, so that Modi can consolidate his fragile hold.
So, India has been active on the FATF forum. Its stance is that if Pakistan does not comply FATF demands than it should be placed on the “Black List.” Pakistan’s rulers have been presenting this scenario as a conspiracy hatched by India to weaken Pakistan. So they argue that only obedience to the FATF will thwart the Indian plot.
Initially, opposition parties argued that the regime should not capitulate to the FATF beyond its demands, as it undermines state sovereignty and basic rights of citizens. However, in principle, they accept the FATF and when the critical time for approval came, three dozen members of opposition were absent, allowing the colonialist bills to be passed with a majority of just ten votes.
Under Democracy, all parties, ruling or opposition, are all willing to serve US interests. Democracy exists in the Muslim World to serve the colonialist ambitions, whether cultural, economic, military or related to foreign policy. This mode of existence was confirmed by Prime Minister, Imran Khan, recently when he expressed his desire to hang rapists publicly, quickly adding that it will never be accepted by the West.
Until the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood is restored, colonialist powers will undermine the interests of Islam and Muslims, due to the fact that in Democracy law is made according to the whims and desires of men, rather than derived from the Quran and Sunnah. In the Khilafah, neither the ruler, Khaleefah, nor the consultative assembly, the Ummah Council, nor the judiciary, Quda’a, make laws. They all play their role in ensuring that all laws are derived from the Quran and Sunnah alone. Thus the Khilafah completely and permanently closes the doors of exploitation for the colonialists. Allah (swt) said,
(وَاَنِ احۡكُمۡ بَيۡنَهُمۡ بِمَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ اَهۡوَآءَهُمۡ)
“Therefore, judge between them (O Muhammad!) by all that Allah (swt) has revealed and do not follow their desires.” [Surah Al-Maidah 5:49].
