Speech of the Muslim Women of Uzbekistan Addressing the Muslim Ummah
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
We, the Muslim women who are victims of injustice in Uzbekistan, preach to and address the men that count themselves from the Ummah of Muhammad (saw)!
Who is the woman? She is a mother, a wife, a sister, an honor that must be protected and preserved, and a fortress that prevents the believer from falling into sin. She is a fragile but great being at the same time that encompasses countless excellent features and beautiful qualities.
This was originally the case, but in the present, how is she, what has she become? How is the woman in our time and in our days? She has become humiliated and discarded and she became a worthless tool, used and then thrown away in the end! What plunged the woman into this squalid situation is Democracy that bereaved us from a happy living.
In Uzbekistan, in particular, the harassment against women by the ruling class that applies the system is increasing daily. It can be seen through the following examples: If we look at the practices of the authorities of Kokand (one of the districts of Ferghana), we find: They have created an association that encompasses the following members:
- President of the Women's Committee in the district
- Chairman of the Board of Neighborhoods (Lord Mayor)
- Board of Neighborhoods
They roam the neighborhoods of the city entering one house after the other, carrying cameras with them, disturbing the housewives and their comfort, asking them not to wear the Khimar, and they sometimes even force them to uncover their heads. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un!
Web sites and social networking sites have reported that the Khimars of the believing women who wish to sell their products on the market are being forcefully removed, and those who were not satisfied with this action, they confiscated their money and property in those markets. Last year they forced the sellers to stop offering wide, covering Khimars in the capital of Tashkent, and today here in the city of Kokand they prohibit their sale as well, saying loudly and with disdain: "Who allowed you to sell them!?"
If it happens that a woman from those covering with such Khimar comes to one of the state institutions, be it a kindergarten or a school or college or anywhere else they, she is immediately discharged "upon request!" Allahul Musta'an!
Strangely, there are songs they constantly repeat, that are also constantly played by the Uzbek regime's media outlets, in which they sing: "No matter what, you're saint, saint, oh woman!!"
Is this what reverence for women looks like?! How did we get to this situation? What is this dire situation a result of?
The primary reasons for this situation are the satisfaction of our men with the Kufr system, their submission to it, and their forgetfulness of the protection of the Muslim women, and their loss of protectiveness over them.
Adding salt to injury - in addition what has been mentioned above - some religious scholars gave Fatawa to the satisfaction of the government violating the law of Allah, giving the government an excuse to more oppression, contempt and insult towards the believing women, saying: "It is not from the religion what you claim, here are the religious scholars that say so!" Hence - we Muslim women - have become afraid of letting our daughters leave the house when there is a necessity.
When the Muslims still had their state, the Khaleefah would listen to the ordinary women and treat them in an Islamic manner. The state would sponsor her and take care of her affairs if her husband neglected or left her care!
Today, women's fates are contempt and humiliation! The women are the ones most desperately in need of these Khaleefahs, more than ever before and more than anyone else!
O Muslim Ummah! Know that tomorrow we will complain to you between the hands of Allah (swt), saying: "We were powerless and humble but no one protected us, and no one worked to find us a Khaleefah that would protect us!" What will you answer Allah (swt)? And how will you endure his torture for not hasting to our aid or the defense of our honor?
"O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are [appointed] angels, harsh and severe; they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded." [Al-Tahrim: 66]
