 Press Release
Financial Aid is the Reason for Increasing Famine and Dependence on the West
(Translated)

A conference of donor countries to Yemen, organized by Sweden and Switzerland in cooperation with the United Nations, ended in Geneva on Monday, February 26, with a pledge by 31 countries and international organizations to provide aid worth $1.2 billion, to be used to avert the threat of famine and deliver aid to millions of Yemenis displaced by war and exhausted by hunger and disease in the absence of any hope for the end of a war that has been devastating the country since 2014. But the amount pledged at the conference fell short of the ambitions of the United Nations, which seeks to raise $4.3 billion. However, the international organization hopes that the amount will rise to 2 billion dollars before the end of this week.

The war in Yemen led by America and Britain has created all kinds of diseases and epidemics. From malnutrition and famine, 400,000 children suffer from its effects among 21 million people who do not find adequate food, drink and medical care. Then the United Nations, making the disease and fabricating the medicine, comes to play on the chord of the humanitarian side to achieve what the sponsors and makers of this organization want, for the interest of the Kaffir West that established it and achieves its interests through it, even though these and similar conferences have no connection with the human aspect. The purpose of these actions is colonialism to maintain influence over Yemen for the countries that are fighting over it, in addition to plundering the wealth of Yemen that suffices its people and more, had it not been for the presence of the puppet rulers who enabled America and Britain to plunder those wealth in northern and southern Yemen, which, if it were supplied to the treasuries of the governments of Sana’a and Aden, would have sufficed the people of Yemen, and would have increased those revenues from oil, gas and ports, in addition to what is imposed on people unjustly and unfairly in terms of taxes, customs, zakat - which is taken from people in an illegal way - and endowments and other visible and hidden sources of income that many people do not know of, but Allah knows them. In addition to the uniqueness of the Houthis in their areas of control with fees and royalties that are imposed on people under many names, for which Allah has not sent down an authority, they will be regretful for those who take them on the Day of Resurrection, and they will burn in flames.

The capitalist principle adopted by Western countries is a direct cause of poverty and the spread of hunger and diseases in Africa and many countries in Latin America and Asia, including Yemen, where the World Bank, a colonial institution led by America, was mentioned by its Managing Director of Operations, Axel van Trotsenburg, on 01/18/2023 that: “...over 130 million people could be pushed into extreme poverty by climate change.”, .” The West, then, is responsible for increasing the number of the poor, because it is responsible for climate change. All what the world suffers from in terms of poverty, hunger, lack of medicine, health and educational care, etc. is caused by the unfair capitalist system that applies to the world and is ruled by its major colonial powers, their companies, their financial institutions, and their currencies in it, undervaluing the currencies of others and flooding them with usurious debts.

It is noticeable that this aid throughout its history did not reach the good of the people of Yemen, but rather suffered its evil through more famine and dependence, and yet the common people in Yemen do not realize the extent of the danger of providing aid to them, but rather their simplicity tells them that they have benefited from the aid provided by the West to them through the United Nations. As for the rulers and a segment of those around them, they realize the seriousness of what they are doing, but in return they brag about doing a small part of the interests, such as building some schools and bridges, and running the affairs of government in the foreseeable future, leaving the future generations to face what their hands have tampered with.

In sum, aid is an economic colonialism by itself that is not much different from political and military colonialism, because the result is the same, which is increasing dependence on the West and shackling the people to postpone right change on the basis of Islam. The Ummah will not be liberated from the restrictions that surrounded it except by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood for which Hizb ut Tahrir works, whose time has come after the forced rule approached its demise and the overthrow of its regime. The Prophet (saw) said: «ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ» “Then there will once again be a rule on the method of the prophethood.”
