Obituary of a Dawah Carrier from the First Generation in Tunisia

[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَاهَدُواْ اللهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلاً]

“Among the believers are men true to what they promised Allāh. Among them is he who has fulfilled his vow [to the death], and among them is he who awaits [his chance]. And they did not alter [the terms of their commitment] by any alteration” [Al-Ahzab: 23]

The Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir of the Wilayah of Tunisia mourns the passing away of one of the men of Hizb ut Tahrir, a Dawah carrier from the first generation in its ranks, the linguistic scholar, may Allah’s mercy be on him, Allah willing:

Al Arousi Bin Amara

Who passed away to the mercy of Allah (swt) on Sunday, 14 July 2024, at the age of 84. Our uncle Al-Arousi, may Allah have mercy on him, joined the dawah in the early seventies. He was a dawah carrier to Islam wherever he travelled and resided, working for the re-establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood. He was a teacher and khatib to people in mosques, events, and gatherings. May Allah have mercy on him, he was one of the arrows of the work to resume the Islamic way of life.

He lived keeping his covenant with Allah (swt) until the last moments of his life and died accordingly. May Allah (swt) have mercy on our deceased and make the Spacious Gardens his abode. Inna lillah wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioun (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return). May Allah reward his family and relatives and grant them patience and solace. We only say what pleases Allah (swt). To Allah is what He gives and to Him belongs what He takes, He (swt) decreed for everything its destiny.
