Beware of Political Strife in Tunisia, as it is a Colonial Agenda

[وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَشَدُّ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ]
“...And fitnah1 is worse than killing”. [Al-Baqarah: 191]

At a time when prospects for Tunisia’s sons and daughters are almost closed, people are consumed by the flames of high prices, waves of clandestine and overt emigration are multiplying to escape from an unknown fate, and the Public Enterprises Law is being amended as a prelude to surrendering the country’s capabilities... In this difficult time, we hear a convulsive political discourse that is far from wisdom and rationality, instead of offering solutions and alternatives to get out of the crisis within a deep and balanced reading that aims for radical change and victory for creed and Deen. Rather, the president and his opponents monopolize the political scene in a way that hijacks the country and presents it on a plate of gold to the colonial powers surrounding the country and the people, so that the two parties become the title of the crisis locally, regionally and internationally.

Between the head of state's call for "honest citizens" to purify the country from all tampering with the capabilities of the state and the people, and between describing the army as a "coup" army within a totalitarian and condemnable measure, and then adding this adjective by saying that "coups are thrown with stones", there is no talk of political programs, but nihilism, exclusion, establishing chaos, the law of the jungle, preoccupying people with imaginary conflicts and empty polemics becomes the only program for the political center, rulers and opposition. Evil is what they decide! Rather, the sedition whose fire is fueled by colonialism becomes the master of the situation, and sedition is worse than killing!

In the face of this miserable situation in the country, we in the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Tunisia want to highlight the following:

1- What is happening today is a clear withdrawal from the arena of intellectual struggle in front of Islam, and a limitation of the battle between the tools of the Western conflict over our country, and the people’s illusion of bringing the revolution to safety by drafting a new man-made constitution, forming a new parliament that legislates instead of Allah, and adopting new laws contradicting Islam, as a basis for quarreling and resolving disputes, within a dirty political game whose framework and rules are determined by the West and its bodies and controls its outcomes. It is a malicious political agenda that wants to close the arc of the revolution and end the political debate about Islam as a civilized project capable of liberating and reviving Muslims. It is killing in them the desire for change, by exploiting the lie of the failure of political Islam. Therefore, it was not strange that this agenda intersected with the American vision, which imposed the re-normalization of relations with the regime of the tyrant Bashar Al-Assad, who bombed the Syrian people with chemical weapons, and who knows what will happen after that?!

2- As well as making the people on the sidelines of political life by falsifying their will and permanently excluding them from the circle of political action, claiming that the president arrived through the Democratic ballot box so that the people become a mere consumer and follower of events and a dull political path that does not express them and their concerns. Or just a number in the equation of the International Monetary Fund, which is a tangible confirmation that the rhetoric of sedition disseminated by the colonial agents to mobilize their supporters only serves the agenda of the Western powers, which have begun to shed crocodile tears over the future of Tunisia, at a time when the dreams of its people are evaporating amid the polemics of semi-politicians and rulers and their negligence. Was Democracy revealed through revelation, or is its funds a prophetic miracle that is not subject to accountability?!

3- The West, which could not hide its anger at the Ummah's revolutions, and what their chests hide is far greater, is the one that ignites the fire of sedition so that its leaders and politicians intervene as firefighting brigades. Also, the United Nations organization’s intention to sponsor a societal dialogue between the government and the Tunisian General Labour Union, starting from the second half of this year is an evidence of the West's blatant interference in the smallest details of the country's affairs, especially after it tightened its grip on the mercenaries of politics and expelled Islam from governance; which warns of a terrible evil. The West is the one pushing the sons of this people to be the fuel of this battle, and what happened in Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Sudan is a good evidence.

In conclusion, we ask:

Didn't everyone realize, that the first target of the rivalry agenda fabricated by the makers of sedition, are the armies that the West prevents its alignment within the Ummah's civilized project and keeps its loyalty to the regimes of harm?!

Will the followers and supporters in Tunisia learn and realize that there is no salvation for the people of Zaytouna except through Islam in the Islamic state, the Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) State.

Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اسْتَجِيبُواْ لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُواْ أَنَّ اللهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ]

“O you who have believed, respond to Allāh and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allāh intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered” [Al-Anfal: 24].
