The New Encroachment of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham on the Members of Hizb ut Tahrir: A Step Towards Normalization or Towards Surrender?!

 The new encroachment of the General Security Service affiliated with Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) on the members of Hizb ut Tahrir came after a name was proposed for the Friday of 22/11/2024: “Whoever Protects NATO's Borders, Prevents the Opening of Battles and Protects the Borders of the Regime.” The General Security Service, after a major mobilization it carried out on Friday night, kidnapped a new number of Hizb ut Tahrir members, namely the lawyer Muhammad al-Sharif and Fateh al-Tarmanini from the town of Tarmanin, as well as the member Omar Rahhal from the town of Kafr Nouran, and the two brothers, students Bashar Abdul-Hay Samsoum and Ahmad Abdul-Hay Samsoum from the city of Atarib. Earlier, Sheikh Amir Salim, who was displaced from Daraa Governorate, was kidnapped.

The name of this Friday came after statements by Ahmad Zidan in which he mentioned that the Hay'at had a major role in protecting NATO's borders by protecting the borders of Turkey, a member of the alliance, which led to a state of popular resentment in the region among the sons of the revolution, especially the Mujahideen.

Zidan's words carried within them a clear stab at the Mujahideen, which is a pretext that the Hay'at has always used to strike those who oppose its policy and mentality. So it becomes clear from Zidan's words who is stabbing the Mujahideen, as Zidan, in his statement, placed the Mujahideen in the position of the guards of NATO's borders, and made them implementers of the agendas of the Western countries conspiring against the revolution of Ash-Sham, and he knows for certain that the Mujahideen of the revolution of Ash-Sham did not go out except for jihad in the way of Allah and to overthrow the criminal regime in Damascus.

O our People in the Revolution of Ash-Sham, O Mujahideen: You see daily, with your own eyes, how the leadership of the Hay'at and its theorists view you. They consider you nothing but tools that they use to implement agendas that they were assigned to in order to end your jihad, your revolution, and your sacrifices. So, what will you do?!

O Mujahideen: The leadership of the Hay'at and its theorists are impudently attacking you and your actions, and are working to prevent you from rallying around those who work to protect you, your jihad, and your sacrifices.

Today, the revolution is passing through a dangerous crossroads. Either you remain on the path of the leadership of the Hay'at and the associated leaders, and thus they will implement through you the plans and conspiracies of the countries that they weave during their conferences, or you will put your trust in your Lord and hold fast to the rope of Allah alone, and adhere to the constants of your revolution, and proceed with guidance and insight with your revolutionary incubator and your people who are keen for you to reach the fruits of your jihad to overthrow the criminal regime in its home, Damascus, and establish the rule of Islam on its ruins.

O Mujahideen: Know that you are the hope of your people and your incubator. Indeed, history records the positions, so choose the positions of honour for you, your people, your incubator, and your Ummah that aspires to be with you until Allah honours us all with victory and empowerment. Allah (swt) says:

[يا أَيُّهَا الَّذينَ آمَنُوا استَجيبوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسولِ إِذا دَعاكُم لِما يُحييكُم وَاعلَموا أَنَّ اللهَ يَحولُ بَينَ المَرءِ وَقَلبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيهِ تُحشَرونَ]

“O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah stands between a person and their heart, and that to Him you will all be gathered” [TMQ Al-Anfal: 24].
