In a heart-rending incident, 22 students and a woman drowned on Wednesday morning in the Beheira district of Nile River State when their boat capsized while they were on their way to the Kabnah basic schools on the other side of the river.

On Sunday, August 5, 2018, the opposing factions in the South of Sudan signed an agreement for dividing the power and the levels of ruling. This agreement was signed by the government of the South of Sudan represented by the party of Salva Kiir Mayardit and the People’s Opposition Movement of Riek Machar.

On 14 Shawwal 1439 AH, corresponding to 28/06/2018, Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah of Sudan presented a letter to the brother, the Khartoum State Police Director, regarding requesting the holding of a seminar entitled: CEDAW Agreement: A Deep Shariah Vision at the Martyr Az-Zubair Muhammad Salih International Conference Centre, on Saturday the first of Dhul Qi’idah 1439 AH, corresponding to 14/7/2018, at 11 am.
