 Press Release
A Call from the Thirsty Gaza to the Islamic Ummah
(Translated)

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: Gaza is thirsty and has no one to provide water for it.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: In the month in which the Qur'an was revealed, in the month of the Criterion, the month of blessings, Gaza is thirsty and has no one to provide water for it.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: The people of Gaza have gone from asking for food to queuing under the scorching sun, fasting, just to get a drink of water. They are thirsty and have no one to provide water for them.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: In Gaza, infants and elderly people are thirsty, widows, and orphans are thirsty, and there is no one to provide them with water.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: In Gaza, even the ability to drink water is in the hands of its enemy. Fuel is cut off, preventing its people from extracting it, just as water lines are cut off. Gaza is thirsty, with no one to provide water.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: The enemy has sealed off Gaza's borders, so no one can enter without its permission. The criminal Egyptians have besieged them, so neither water nor food can pass through, leaving Gaza thirsty, with no one to provide water.

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: If a Muslim woman were to ask you, by Allah and then by kinship, to provide her with water because she was thirsty, you would not hesitate to do so, even if you crossed the land and waded into the sea. So how would it be when Gaza is completely thirsty and has no one to provide for her?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: Allah's covenant is absolved from the responsibility of a satiated person while its neighbor is hungry. So where are you in relation to Allah's covenant when Gaza is thirsty and has no one to provide for her?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: The tear of a child in Gaza, the fear of a woman in Gaza, or the cry of a free woman in Gaza requires you not to lay down your arms until you respond to it. So how would it be when Gaza is thirsty and has no one to provide for her?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: The aggression of the Jews against Gaza, after their usurpation of the blessed land and their control over the necks of your brothers, has obligated you to mobilize in the path of Allah to liberate the country, support the servants, and avenge the bloodshed. How could it be when, on top of all that, Gaza is thirsty and has no one to provide for her?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: Obeying the rulers in sitting back from liberating Palestine and aiding its people is a sin against Allah, and repentance is required. So how can you do so when Gaza is thirsty and without a water carrier?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: If a Muslim were to perish and you were able to rescue him, you would be questioned about him before Allah. How can you do so when Gaza is thirsty and without a water carrier?

O Ummah of Islam and its Soldiers: If you do not act today, disobey the orders of the losers, respond to Allah and His Messenger, overthrow the rulers, and exact your vengeance upon them as you did upon the Jews, how will you meet Alalh when you have left Gaza thirsty and without a water carrier?

Today, Gaza's water and relief are not provided by convoys stationed at the border, where food is spoiled while awaiting Jewish permission. Rather, Gaza's relief is provided by a massive army led by al-Mu'tasim, Qutuz, or Saladin, who say, "We are at your service, by Allah, we will not lay down our weapons until you are satisfied and until the caravan arrives at Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Anything less, and Gaza will remain thirsty and without a water carrier.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:

«الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يُسْلِمُهُ»«وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ».

“A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim. So he should neither oppress him nor hand him over to an oppressor and in another narration: “nor does he abandon him.”
