Ever Since US Crusade Began, Our Armed Forces Burn as its Fuel

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan strongly condemns ongoing attacks on Pakistan's armed forces and its institutions and wishes to make the following points:

1. Those who carry out such attacks only help strengthen the American Raj in Pakistan and Afghanistan. America wishes that Pakistan's Armed forces are weakened and wants to sap its strength by keeping it involved in a war with tribal militants in FATA.

2. Only those ignorant of the matters of Deen can claim to carry out such attacks in the name of Islam. For Allah (swt) says in the Quran:

[وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا]

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein; and the Wrath and the Curse of Allaah are upon him, and a great punishment is prepared for him" [Al-Nisa:93]

3. Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan reminds the Ummah, its media, its thinkers and its politicians of their duty to account the Raheel-Nawaz regime for continuing the disastrous policy of further involving Pakistan's Armed forces and state machinery to support America's WoT (War on Terror), under the garb of National Action Plan.

This policy of blindly supporting America's WoT, which is War against Islam and Jihad, was introduced by America's loyal agent General Pervez Musharaf who provided logistical support for Bush's crusade against Afghanistan. Then on Bush's insistence, Musharraf sent Pakistan's armed forces in to Pakistan's tribal areas to ensnare it in a decade's long war against the Pashtun tribes. Thus begin the cycle of violence in Pakistan, which peaked in the last few years, where Pakistan's armed forces have been locked in a struggle which has cost us many officers, soldiers and civilians.

However instead of ending Pakistan's support for America's WoT, once Musharaf was humiliatingly forced out of power, General Kayani increased Pakistan's armed forces involvement in America's WoT, by spreading military operations to all tribal agencies and the Swat region. However, this only resulted in more violence where our armed forces and civilians continued to suffer huge losses. And now the new "strong man" of Pakistan, General Raheel has increased Pakistan's involvement in the WoT still further by expanding it to all four provinces and Pakistan's major cities. And the cycle of violence continues unabated.

O Muslims of Pakistan! One after the other we have seen three different political and military leaderships in Pakistan since 9/11. And, one after the other, each regime has only further increased Pakistan's armed forces involvement in America's WoT. Yet we are no closer to either peace or security. Each time we witness gruesome attacks and hear news of our sons from the armed forces and civilians being killed, our rulers rush to the scenes of attack, attend the funerals and issue emotional statements of support for the families of the dead. However, in the same breath they vow to continue this war of Fitna. May Allah curse them, how they use the grief of the Ummah to serve American interests!

Know that this matter will not be solved until its origin is fixed. And the origin of this conflict is the American military, private military, intelligence and diplomatic presence in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Not till America is kicked out of this region, can we see ever peace in Pakistan or Afghanistan. We have seen the Musharaf-Aziz regime participate in the war of Fitna, we have seen Kayani-Zardari regime increase the participation in America's war and now we are witnessing Raheel-Nawaz regime further increasing its participation in the war, under the garb of NAP. They commit Pakistan's human and economic resources to this war and fourteen years have passed with no peace in sight.

What needs to be done is to commit to these resources to eradicate US presence from this region. This will only be done by the Khalifah of Muslims, who is the real strong ruler that Muslims yearn for, a just Imaam, ruling by Islam and leading the forces of the Muslims to liberate Muslim Lands. RasulAllah (saaw) said,

«إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ»

"Indeed the Imam is a shield, behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected" (Sahih Muslim).
