Anwar Describes the Enemy of Allah, the Enemy of His Messenger, and the Enemy of the Believers as "A True Friend"!

The official three-day visit of Malaysia's Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, to India concluded on 21/08/2024. Similar to his previous trip to China, Anwar assured Malaysians of potential investments worth billions of ringgits from India, highlighting the success of his visit. During this trip, eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between the Malaysian and Indian governments, along with seven Business-to-Business (B2B) MoUs. Anwar also engaged in discussions with prominent Indian corporations, including Tata Group, Emami Agro Tech Limited, and HCL Technologies. "I am grateful to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, for inviting me for an official visit to India, which was very satisfying," Anwar told Malaysian media after the visit ended.

This visit reflects nothing except the current trend of state visits, which prioritize economic benefits over religious calls exemplified by the Messenger of Allah (saw) in the past. Despite Narendra Modi's well-documented anti-Islam and anti-Muslim stance, Anwar was seen walking hand-in-hand with his Indian counterpart in a manner some have described as overly friendly. Even more irritating, in his speech, Anwar referred to Modi as a "very kind person" and a "mere dosti" (true friend)!

O Prime Minister of Malaysia! If you are unaware, allow us to clarify who Modi is and the nature of his extremist Hindu-based political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Since coming to power in 2014, India has increasingly become a dangerous place for its approximately 200 million Muslims, who make up 14% of the country’s 1.45 billion population. Modi has fervently advocated for Hindu supremacy and has implemented numerous policies that favor Hindus. On the other hand, he has interfered with the practice of Islam, even to the point of imposing restrictions on religious practices, leading to systematic oppression that has reached alarming levels, including mass killings. Modi's objective seems to be the complete transformation of India into a Hindu state, seeking to eliminate Islam and its followers from the subcontinent. He has labeled Muslims as outsiders who pose a threat to Hindus, using wild accusations and propaganda to incite Hindu extremists to insult Islam, attack and kill Muslims, and destroy mosques and homes, sparing neither the innocent nor vulnerable women and children from their brutality. Such atrocities have been facilitated by Modi's divisive policies and inflammatory rhetoric.

Muslims have been brutally killed simply for consuming beef, being accused of insulting Hindu idols, or allegedly looking at Hindu women. We must not forget the tragedy of 2002, when mass killings were perpetrated by BJP supporters in Gujarat, where Modi served as Chief Minister at the time. Thousands of Muslims, predominantly women and children, were raped and burned alive, while many others were left disabled or went missing due to the atrocities committed by Hindu extremists. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims lost their homes and belongings, forced to flee due to the violence of Hindu fanatics. This massacre was incited with the tacit approval of the state authority led by Modi.

Since assuming office, Modi has been advocating for what is referred to as "chuddhi" (cleansing) in India, which aims to reconvert millions of Indian Muslims and Christians back to Hinduism, arguing that their ancestors were Hindus and that their descendants should revert to their ancestral faith. To realize this agenda, Modi has engaged in significant efforts, including propaganda, misinformation, and unfounded claims to convince Hindus that their rights are under threat in their own country and that their religion, culture, and even their very existence are in danger, particularly from Muslims.

O Prime Minister of Malaysia! These are just a few examples of the blatant injustice and brutality perpetrated by Modi, which are evidently directed against your fellow brothers in India. Recently, in light of the Jewish aggression towards Muslims in Palestine, numerous reports have indicated that substantial military equipment has been supplied by Modi to the criminal Jewish entity. It is not surprising that Modi has been referred to as "Netanyahu of Asia" in light of his actions against the Muslims. He has not only massacred our brothers in India but also support those who are massacring our brothers outside India. Their hatred and hostility towards Islam and Muslims run deep. What Allah (swt) says is undoubtedly true:

[لَتَجِدَنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَدَاوَةً لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا]

“Certainly, you will find among people with the strongest enmity for the believers to be the Jews and the polytheists” [Al-Ma’idah (5): 82].

O Prime Minister of Malaysia! With all the evils that Modi has clearly perpetrated, along with many others that are unmentioned here, how can you call him a true friend and maintain a cordial relationship with him?! Where has your sense of reason gone? Have you not heard the words of Allah (swt):

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِنْ دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ]

“O you have believed do not take as intimates those other than yourselves (believers) for they will not spare you (any ruin) they wish you would have hardship. Hatred have already appeared from their mouths and what their breasts conceal is greater. We have certainly made it clear to you the signs if you will use reason” [Aali Imran (3): 118].

O Muslims! It is imperative that we put an immediate end to Modi's transgressions. Like Palestine, India must be fully restored to Muslim hands. However, given the current state of Muslim rulers, there appears to be no hope for this outcome. The only remaining hope lies in the establishment of the second Righteous Caliphate (Khilafah Rashidah), and it is the responsibility of each one of us to champion this cause.
