Palestine does not Need your Rally, O Prime Minister, but an Army to Liberate it!

In response to the assassination of the Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, the Prime Minister of Malaysia organized a large gathering at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on Sunday, 04/08/2024, with an attendance of approximately 15,000 people. This rally was intended to condemn the killing and reaffirm Malaysia's commitment to the rights of Palestinians to be free from Zionist oppression. "I am in touch with President Abdul Fattah El-Sisi, seeking his assistance to facilitate humanitarian aid and support, and to allow us to bring back some of the injured and sick Palestinians, including women and children, to be treated in Malaysia," said the Prime Minister. The Deputy Prime Minister and several other ministers, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, were also present at the rally.

This response exemplifies the typical stance of Muslim rulers on issues involving the lives, blood, and honour of Muslims affected by enemies of Islam – simply condemnations or denunciations without any substantial action, even when they have the capability to do more. Despite knowing that such condemnations are often met with derision by the enemy, these “theatrics” are seen as the most courageous action they are willing to take.

It is well understood that rallies, no matter how large, will neither liberate Palestine nor instill fear in the criminal Jewish entity. Rallies are appropriate for ordinary citizens who lack power, as a means to express support for Palestine or to protest against the enemy. As for O Prime Minister, holding a rally is not the way to demonstrate support or protest! If you truly wish to save Palestinian children and women from Zionist cruelty, why do you not heed the call from your Lord when He says:

[وَمَا لَكُمۡ لَا تُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمُسۡتَضۡعَفِينَ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ وَٱلنِّسَآءِ وَٱلۡوِلۡدَٲنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ أَخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِ ٱلظَّالِمِ أَهۡلُهَا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيًّ۬ا وَٱجۡعَل لَّنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ نَصِيرًا]

“And what is (the matter) with you that you fight not in the cause of Allah and [for] the oppressed among men, women, and children who say, "Our Lord, take us out of this city of oppressive people and appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a helper?” [An-Nisa’ (4): 75]

We reiterate the question posed in this verse - what is the matter with you, O Prime Minister, that you do not fight in the cause of Allah (swt) if you truly wish to save the Palestinian people? Allah (swt) has not only commanded you to wage war against His enemies and your enemies, but He has also promised His help and victory if you do so:

[قَاتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنْصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُؤْمِنِينَ]

“Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people.” [At-Tawba (9): 14].

Palestine stands as a glaring testament to the hypocrisy and betrayal of Muslim rulers towards their fellow Muslims, and indeed towards Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw). These rulers have lost not only their manhood concerning the Palestine issue but also their dignity and shame. Despite their loud speeches in support of Palestine and their condemnations of the Jews, these rulers dare not raise their voices, let alone their faces, against their enemies. What they really "dare" to do is betrayal after betrayal towards Palestine, towards Muslims, towards Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw)!

The Palestinian people do not need "gatherings" or rhetorical speeches from the Muslim rulers. What they demand from those rulers is the declaration of Jihad and the mobilization of Muslim armies to free them and to liberate the Blessed Land of Palestine entirely. The Palestinian people, and all of us in fact, are exhausted by the empty rhetoric and insincere actions of the rulers. These rulers need to realize that their tenure will not last. The Khilafah (caliphate) promised by Allah and His Messenger will be established soon. The return of a righteous caliphate upon the method of the Prophethood is imminent. We must intensify our efforts and pray to Allah to grant His victory through our hands. When the caliphate is established, the Blessed Land of Palestine will return to Muslim hands, Insha Allah, and the criminal Jewish entity will not only vanish from the world atlas but will most definitely disappear from the face of the earth.
