Provocation in Bek-Abad and Authorities' Attempts to Fight Islam

News has spread in Kyrgyzstan about the replacement of the national flags of Kyrgyzstan, hung on the buildings of Shamsiev and Atabekov secondary schools in the Suzak district, as well as on the building of the Atabekov village administration, with a piece of white cloth bearing the Shahada, on the night of May 30. The next day, security forces went to the homes of residents and began checking the documents of local residents. Soon, officers of the State Committee for National Security began searching the homes of Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, who are carrying the Islamic Dawah. They arrested the Shabab who were at home without any reason, and summoned those who were away for questioning. The interrogation continued until around 11:00 PM, after which they were released under certain conditions, while six of them remain in temporary detention.

The government is attempting to link this event to the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir by manipulating information. Such behaviour by the authorities is not coincidental; in recent years, the number of people imprisoned on charges of extremism and terrorism has decreased, so the government is likely trying to fill the vacant spots in the prisons! In this way, the agent government aims to carry out the orders of its kuffar (disbelieving) masters and please them.

In fact, this is not the first attempt by the authorities to discredit Hizb ut Tahrir. For decades, the government has been suppressing thousands of Muslim preachers, even weak Muslim women, in prisons on charges of "seizing power." It does not stop there; there have also been attempts to distance the Hizb from society by linking it to some bombing incidents and instilling fear among the population. However, such dirty attempts by the authorities have not been successful. On the contrary, Kyrgyz society is returning to Islam day by day and is striving to study it more deeply from a doctrinal perspective. Islamic traditions have become the basis of relationships among the population. The Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir, no matter the sacrifices asked of them, remain steadfast in their stance and continue their work for the resumption of Islamic life through the establishment of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate). They do not fear the blame of any blamer for the sake of Allah.

In contrast, the official government demonstrates its weakness in solving the problems of the residents, who live in the lowest levels of poverty, similar to other residents of Central Asia. As if this were not enough, the government invents different types of taxes on the population and continuously raises electricity prices. For example, as of June 1, the price of heating and hot water supply was tripled for homes with a total area exceeding 80 square meters. Additionally, from May 1, the electricity tariff was increased by 10.8 millimes.

Moreover, this puppet government cannot solve the issues of unemployment, the economic crisis, social problems, foreign debt, and the difficult situation in the healthcare sector. Nevertheless, despite these problems, it is preoccupied with arresting the Shabab who are trying to bring Islam back to life. This is a disgrace for the government in this world, and its disgrace in the Akhirah (Hereafter) will be even greater.

The current government leaders do not learn from the fate of previous leaders who fought against Islam. We all know the outcomes of previous leaders' attempts to please their kuffar masters. These traitors are now in such a weak position that they cannot return to their country.

O people in power! Abandon your intention to increase oppression against Islam and Muslims! Otherwise, your fate will be the same as that of the previous rulers! The government must understand this. Although many tyrannical regimes have tried to persecute the Hizb, they have been defeated by the grace of Allah. Therefore, the arrests will never deter the members of Hizb ut Tahrir; instead, this will encourage the Shabab to achieve their goals! We strongly believe in the words of the Messenger of Allah (saw):

«لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الدِّينِ ظَاهِرِينَ، لِعَدُوِّهِمْ قَاهِرِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَالَفَهُمْ إِلَّا مَا أَصَابَهُمْ مِنْ لَأْوَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُمْ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَهُمْ كَذَلِكَ»

“A group of people from my Umma will always remain triumphant on the right path and continue to be triumphant (against their opponents). He who deserts them shall not be able to do them any harm. They will remain in this position until Allah's Command is executed.” (Reported by Abu Dawud and Ahmad)

The Messenger of Allah (saw) reminded us of our responsibility, saying:

«كَلاَّ، وَاللَّهِ لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ، وَلَتَنْهَوُنَّ عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ، وَلَتَأْخُذُنَّ عَلَى يَدِ الظَّالِمِ، وَلَتَأْطِرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ أَطْراً، وَلَتَقْصُرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ قَصْراً، أَوْ لَيَضْرِبَنَّ اللهُ بِقُلُوبِ بَعْضِكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ، ثُمَّ لَيَلْعَنَنَّكُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَهُمْ»

“Nay, by Allah, you either enjoin good and forbid evil and catch hold of the hand of the oppressor and persuade him to act justly and stick to the truth, or, Allah will involve the hearts of some of you with the hearts of others and will curse you as He had cursed them.”

Therefore, we must resist the Kyrgyz government's fight against Islam and Muslims on their path to building a dictatorship. It is natural that such a government, which fights the Hizb today with false accusations, will begin tomorrow to prohibit prayer and fasting for all Muslims.
