Press Release The Government Has No Good Will towards Small Scale Retailers
The lack of government funds to recompensate small scale retailers at Mchikichini Market in Dar Salam, which recently went ablaze due to electrical faults, is a clear indication that the govt under the capitalist ideology, has no good intention whatsoever to towards the small scale retailers.
For a long time now, small-scale retailers in Dar and its environs are being subjected to oppressive treatment apart from having their merchandise confiscated in their daily quest for legal livelihood.
Governments under capitalist ideology, fail to create job opportunities and employment to their respective citizens.
However, when the citizens incur upon themselves the responsibility and tediously strife to create job opportunities for self-employment, they are subjugated with their merchandise confiscated.
In Tanzania, looks there is malicious conspiracy, strategically hatched to expel and oust all the small-scale retailers and hawkers from Dar, its peripherals and other cities and towns in an endeavor to create business opportunities to affluent tycoons in order to monopolise all the business enterprises.
Under the heinous yoke of capitalist ideology, with its benefit of criterion when undertaking actions, there is a spiteful tendency of favouring the rich while neglecting the poor.
