Hizb-ut Tahrir/East Africa Express Condolences to Victims of Mv. Skagit

Hizb-ut Tahrir / East Africa wishes to express its heartfelt condolences to the victims of a ferry Mv. Skagit that capsized last week claiming the lives of hundreds.

It is sad indeed to see this current ferry accident occurring while wounds of last year similar ferry accident (Mv. Spice) have not yet healed nor its victims compensated.

Again, we in Hizb protest forcefully the failure of capitalist system in serving its people well, encouraging use of bribes, disregarding putting in place reliable safety measures including rescuing personnel and facilities which led total chaos and disarray in the whole rescuing mission.

Hizb, sincerely calls upon all people to support the work of re-establishment of the Islamic state (Khilafah "Caliphate") by which mankind will be fully served and their lives taken care of.
