Obituary of a Distinguished Dawah Carrier
[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَى نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]
“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least.” [TMQ Al-Ahzab:23]

Ustath Omar Arif Al-Umari (Abu Rami)

Who passed away to the mercy of Allah Almighty on Friday, 19 January 2024, at the age of 70, which he spent as a carrier of the Da’wah, working to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate).

Abu Rami joined the ranks of the party in the early years of his youth. He was active and patient, struggling in his faith to please Allah (swt) in carrying the call, which caused him to be persecuted by the security services. This did not dissuade him from his steadfastness or from spreading the truth and carrying the dawah until he fell ill, as a result of which he died.

We pray to Allah Almighty to forgive him and shower him with immense mercy, and to place him in the heavens with the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs, the righteous, and such are an honourable company. We also pray to Allah Almighty to inspire his family with patience, steadfastness, and good condolences.

[إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return” [TMQ Al-Baqarah:156]
