Press Release
The Egyptian Proposal: Has the Blood of the People of Gaza become a Commodity in Negotiation Deals?
(Translated)

Amid the horrors of the massacres in Gaza and the suffering of its people under bombardment and siege, a new Egyptian proposal emerges calling for the release of five living prisoners, including an American citizen, in exchange for the entry of aid into Gaza and a ceasefire for several weeks. At first glance, this proposal may seem like a step towards calming the situation, but in essence, it reflects a bitter reality: the issue has become a political negotiating bazaar, where the blood of Muslims is bought and sold, while the usurping enemy remains immune from punishment!

The true vision of this proposal does not deviate from its established framework: that negotiations with the Jewish entity, whatever their form, are nothing more than a consolidation of its existence, a stabilization of its occupation, and a prolongation of its crimes. What a farce is this that conditions the entry of food to the people of Gaza for the release of a handful of prisoners? What a shame this is, that makes the blood of thousands of martyrs subject to bargaining at a negotiating table managed by the American will and Jewish satisfaction?!

Providing aid to the people of Gaza (although it is not the solution to their tragedy) is not out of kindness or a favour from the Jewish entity or those they call mediators. Rather, it is their inherent right, above and beyond the duty to support them and liberate the entire land of Islam. The siege of the people of Gaza and depriving them even of that aid is a crime by all standards; a crime committed by the Jews and their partners from the submissive and subservient rulers of the Ummah, and by those elites and leaders who side with them, and by those who refrain from supporting them despite their ability to do so.

The Egyptian regime is the epitome of treason. We have seen how Egypt, which is supposed to hold the key to the crossings, prevented the entry of food and medicine for months, while insisting that this should only be done according to "political understandings." How shameful is this?! Shouldn't the crossings have been opened unconditionally, and the blockade broken by force, not negotiation? Wasn't it necessary to break this blockade, uproot these borders, and support the oppressed people of Gaza? A single statement from the Egyptian army would be enough to stop the blood flow in the veins of the Jewish entity, not to mention the massacres it is committing. Indeed, some members of the Egyptian army are capable of liberating all of Palestine in a matter of hours, and those who fail to do so will have no excuse before Allah on the Day of Judgment.

The Egyptian role in this crisis is nothing more than a meticulous implementation of American and Jewish directives. Egypt has not acted as an Islamic country standing with the people of Gaza, but rather as a mediator whose job is to "control matters" according to the American vision.

  • Why didn't Egypt move to impose a new reality by force and compel the Jews to lift the blockade unconditionally?

  • Why didn't it treat Gaza as part of the Islamic Ummah, rather than treating it as a negotiating issue?

  • Why didn't it propose that its army march to liberate Palestine instead of playing the role of broker?

Reducing the Palestinian crisis to the issue of prisoners is a major crime. The issue did not begin when these people were captured, and it will not end with their release, because the root of the problem is the presence of a Jewish entity in Palestine, their usurpation of it, and their ongoing crimes against Muslims.

The Shariah opinion is quite clear:

  • The issue is not one of a "humanitarian crisis," but rather one of jihad and liberation.

  • All of Palestine, from the sea to the river, is Islamic land that must be cleansed of occupation, and there is no legitimacy to any negotiations with an occupying entity.

  • The solution lies not in temporary truces, but in the mobilization of the armies of the Islamic Ummah to liberate the Blessed Land, as Salahuddin did.

So, when will the armies mobilize?

We ask the army commanders, especially in Egypt, this question:

  • If the Egyptian army possesses sufficient military power, why doesn't it move to liberate Palestine?
  • How can military leaders sleep while their brothers in Gaza are being slaughtered?
  • Is the mission of armies only to protect the regimes, while the Ummah is being annihilated?

All these negotiations and all these proposals are nothing but desperate attempts to keep the Jewish entity on the land of Isra' and Mi'raj. There will be no real solution unless the Islamic Ummah mobilizes and fulfills its Islamic duty of jihad to liberate all of Palestine.

O people of Egypt, O soldiers of the Kinanah (Egypt), you are not mediators! This is your cause! Either you act today before tomorrow, or history will record you as those who forsaken (Palestine) and who squandered the Ummah's rights at a moment when they could have made a difference.

[وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّى لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ]

“Fight against them until there is no more persecution—and ˹your˺ devotion will be entirely to Allah” [Al-Anfal: 39]
