No Political Court Ruling Will Stop the Call: "Israel" Must Be Eliminated and All of Palestine Liberated

On Tuesday 25/6/2024, I was sentenced to 60 days' probation in Copenhagen City Court for calling for the liberation of Palestine. The presiding judge ruled during sentencing that my 2021 speech at issue was not directed at Jews as a religious group, but called for the elimination of the illegitimate Zionist entity called “Israel” through armed intervention.  This call was declared by the city court to be illegal!

The sentence thus directly criminalizes the call for the liberation of Palestine, without alleged anti-Semitism as the well-known thin cover, and without even specifying which crime I allegedly incited.

Combined with the Parliament's new agreement on combating "anti-Semitism", which also explicitly criminalizes opposition to the Zionist terrorist entity called "Israel", the rotten bottom is being trampled out of the legal system in Denmark.

All the while, the Zionist occupation of Palestine continues to carry out genocide before the eyes of the world, sponsored by Western powers - and small states like Denmark, which contribute to the mass murder of Gaza's children by sending weapon parts to the terrorist entity's fighter planes.

By making opponents of "Israel's" existence outlaws, the genocide-supporting Danish state completes its complicity in its crimes.

We, in Hizb ut Tahrir / Denmark, call on everyone with decency to continue the resistance against the Danish state's support for the genocide.  We especially call our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue the call with even greater determination and tenacity and work for the total removal of the occupation and the liberation of Palestine through the armies of the Muslim world.

Silence and compromise are not an option.
