The Khilafah Is The Real Change In Yemen Which Will Make Women Live In Prosperity‏

British humanitarian organization Oxfam warned in a report titled, "We are still waiting for change" of deterioration in the status of women in Yemen compared to the period before the start of the protest movement that overthrew President Ali Abdullah Saleh in response to the growing humanitarian crisis that most areas of Yemen are suffering.

The agency noted in its report that four out of every five women in Yemen say the circumstances of their lives have worsened over the past 12 months, and that a quarter of Yemeni women between 15 and 49 years suffer from "severe malnutrition."

The deterioration of the situation of women in Yemen after the overthrow of Ali Saleh confirms that the revolution has not achieved its objectives. The bitter truth is that what happened was a betrayal of the sacrifices and efforts of the people of Yemen, as the current president of Yemen does not differ from his predecessor. The revolution did not achieve what the people of Yemen and especially women were looking forward to of dignity and prosperity away from poverty, hunger and insecurity. Yemen, which has been called the Happy Yemen became the Miserable Yemen due to its rulers' actions of felony, exploitation, pillage, oppression and subordination to the West infidel occupiers.

Following this humanitarian crisis that threatens to make half of Yemen's population go hungry, relief organizations along with the Group of Friends of Yemen meeting in New York - called the donor countries to provide more emergency aid to Sanaa. In addition, humanitarian relief agencies stated hat the United Nations appeal to raise $585 million to meet the emergency needs of Yemen has not reached to even half of the required amount, which is about 4% of the money that they promised to give in the Riyadh conference.

Yemen is like any other country that isn't governed by Islam in which it violates the basic rights of women to live in security, prosperity and tranquility. The people of Yemen and especially women will enjoy a decent life only by applying Islam as a comprehensive full system of life. Islam grants women and their children maintenance and provides housing, clothing and food for them, and this is guaranteed by the state , in addition to security, education and medicine. A true solution and real change can only be the establishment by the state of Khilafa which is the Promise of Allah and the Bushara of his Messenger(saw).

His Almighty (swt) said:

(وعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُم فِي الْأَرْضِ كَمَا اسْتَخْلَفَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ دِينَهُمُ الَّذِي ارْتَضَى لَهُمْ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّن بَعْدِ خَوْفِهِمْ أَمْنًا يَعْبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشْرِكُونَ بِي شَيْئًا وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ)

(Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion, the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: `They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me.' If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.) [TMQ Nur (24): 55]
