Invitation to the Global Conference to Conclude the Rajab Campaign

Hizb ut Tahrir will hold an international online conference to conclude the Rajab campaign that marks one hundred hijri years without the Khilafah (Caliphate). Starting at 5pm GMT on Saturday 13th March, the conference will open with a speech by the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, followed by speakers from nine different countries. Topics include the crisis of democracy, Capitalism and Western colonialism, the role of the youth and Muslim women in the work for revival of the Ummah, how the Khilafah will solve various problems, and why the Ummah should choose Hizb ut Tahrir.

Although there is a sadness associated with marking one hundred years since the destruction of the Khilafah; there is also a message of hope. The past century has certainly been one of hardship and suffering, yet Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an

[فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْراً]

“For indeed, with hardship comes ease”. [Ash-Sharh: 5].

There are many signs that the Khilafah on the way of Prophethood will soon return, with Allah’s permission.

The facade of strength has fallen from the colonialist powers today. The miserable condition of their societies, their weakness overseas, and their ideological bankruptcy have been loudly exposed. They no longer seem to produce statesmen of calibre, while such capable politicians are now emerging in the Ummah of Muhammad (saw).

The regimes in the Muslim lands are now seen as artificial and in servitude of the colonialists that imposed them upon us. With democracy and Capitalism now even being rejected in the West, those from among the Muslims who had previously called for these false idols are now left speechless, as the emptiness of the words and false promises are clear for all to see. There is only one hope left for the Muslim Ummah and that is to turn back to obeying Allah and His Messenger (saw).

[يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُون]

“They wish to extinguish Allah’s light with their mouths, but Allah will only allow His light to be perfected, even though the disbelievers dislike it” [As-Saff: 8].

The prerequisites for the establishment of the Khilafah are present within the Ummah, as are the means for a life of fulfilment. Hizb ut Tahrir has presented its draft constitution with details of the institutions and policies of the Khilafah on the way of Prophethood, and the Ummah has started to understand them and adopt them as their own. It is all based on the Islamic belief and all of its articles - from ruling to economic, education to foreign relations - are presented with detailed evidences from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Messenger (saw), so it is only natural that the Muslims will recognise it, while rejecting the foreign ideas of the West.

Throughout the month of Rajab the whole world has been responding to the global campaign, with its Jum’ah Khutbahs, posters, leaflets, masjid talks, documentaries, interviews and shared content. In Britain, members of the party have held many local events and hundreds of discussions on the importance and priority of the work to re-establish the Khilafah in Muslim lands.

Members of the Executive Committee and Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Britain have been interviewed numerous times and produced programmes for Alwaqiyah TV and online distribution. Topics included a stateless Ummah, what can you do to establish the Khilafah, what can the Khilafah achieve today, fixing the world’s economic problems, and a century of struggle panel discussion with Shaykh Asrar Rashid, Mozzaem Begg and Dilly Hussain.

Hizb ut Tahrir was established in al-Quds in 1953 at a time when the world was in darkness. Today it is active in more than fifty countries and is the chief architect in the project to resume the Islamic way of life through establishing the Khilafah. It has taken upon itself to be the leader that does not lie to the people. Its members work day and night to become and produce the capable politicians and dawah carriers that the Ummah needs to establish the Khilafah, implement the Shari'ah of Allah and carry the call of Islam to the world.
