After hundreds of thousands of angry Muslims took to the streets of Dhaka on Saturday, April 13, denouncing the continued brutal massacres perpetrated by America and its protégé, the Jewish entity, against our people in the Blessed Land of Palestine, the head of the interim government, Muhammad Yunus, an intimate friend of former US President, Bill Clinton, had no choice but to order his interior minister to reinstate the phrase “except Israel” on Bangladeshi passports. This effectively bars Bangladeshis from traveling to the Jewish entity. This announcement was a feeble response from the interim government, that came after the ouster of the tyrant Hasina, and which was supposed to be more sensitive than others, to the injustices the country had witnessed under the previous tyrant. Its performance must have been no less than that of the unarmed people, who rallied and denounced the crimes of the international community, America, and the Jewish entity. However, the government’s limiting itself to this announcement demonstrates its failure to support our people in the Blessed Land, and that it has fallen short of the stance taken by countries with no connection to Islam, such as Brazil and Bolivia. This stance of the government does not demonstrate support for our people. Instead, it confirms the state of failure that has brought Bangladesh together with the rest of the agent states in the Islamic world.
Perhaps the unaware observer might assume that Bangladesh is a weak country, unable to protect itself, let alone support our people in the Blessed Land. This assumption is untrue. Bangladesh is ranked among the top three contributors to peacekeeping forces, along with India and Pakistan, with each country contributing approximately 8,000 personnel to various UN missions around the world. Bangladesh has also established the Bangladesh Institute of Peace Support Operation Training (BIPSOT), which trains its forces for peacekeeping missions and is an internationally recognized center in this field. Bangladesh also contributes approximately 120 personnel to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) mission in Lebanon, making it one of the countries contributing to this mission. The Bangladesh Navy has also contributed to the UNIFIL Maritime Task Force (MTF) since 2010, deploying several warships, including the frigate Bangladesh Navy Ship (BNS) Osman, the large patrol vessel BNS Madhumati, the frigate BNS Ali Haider, the large patrol vessel BNS Nirmul, the corvette BNS Bijoy, and most recently the corvette BNS Sangram, which was deployed in September 2020. Thus, Bangladesh is capable of supporting our people in Gaza through these naval vessels, stationed close to the Gaza border. Instead they are being used to protect the borders and integrity of the Jewish entity. These armed forces are being used by global evil forces to carry out dirty military operations, that superpowers are unable to carry out, or are afraid for their forces to engage in, such as protecting the borders of a Jewish entity from Muslims in Lebanon.
It was the duty of Yunus’ government and its army not only to remove the phrase “valid for all countries except Israel” from Bangladeshi passports, but also to abolish the Jewish state, after writing “To the Liberation (Tahrir) of Jerusalem” on their ships, tanks, and the foreheads of the mujahideen of the Bangladesh Army of Muslims, those who long to liberate Al-Quds and pray at Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, the first of the two Qiblas, and the third of the Sacred Masajid, following the example of the Islamic General, Salahudin. However, it is clear that this government is no less treacherous, cowardly, and treasonous than its predecessor, led by the tyrant Hasina. Therefore, it has become clear that the real obstacle to supporting our people in Palestine, after the angry crowds that flooded the streets of Dhaka, is the government itself. The obstacle is not the country’s weakness, its inability, or the lack of resources and soldiers.
Accordingly, adhering to the Islamic Shariah principle, “Whatever is necessary for fulfilling a duty is itself a duty” has become an imperative for every sincere member of the Muslim Bangladeshi Armed Forces. The immediate Shariah obligation is to overthrow this government and replace it with a sincere and righteous political leadership that will lead Bangladesh Army to the honor of liberating the Blessed Land of Palestine. This can only be achieved by the sincere officers in the army revolting against Yunus’ government and granting Nussrah (material support) to Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly-guided Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood. Hizb ut Tahrir will the lead the army and defend our oppressed people in Palestine.
“O believers! What is the matter with you that when you are asked to march forth in the cause of Allah, you cling firmly to your land? Do you prefer the life of this world over the Hereafter? The enjoyment of this worldly life is insignificant compared to that of the Hereafter.” [TMQ Surah At-Tawbah 9:38]
