London, UK, September 21st 2011 - UNICEF's recent report which documents the lives of children in the UK warned that British parents are trapping their children in a cycle of "compulsive consumerism" by showering them with toys and designer labels instead of spending quality time with them.

The current GOB resorted to a policy of brutal repression against Hizb ut-Tahrir since February, 2009, when the party exposed Sheikh Hasina and her government's collaboration in the massacre of officers of the Muslim Army of Bangladesh. Up till now hundreds of party members and activists, along with the party's official spokesman, Mohiuddin Ahmed, have been imprisoned under false cases. They are denied bail despite fulfilling all legal requirements.

On 8th of April, 2011 Mansur Maratovich Sharipov was arrested by officers of FSB on suspicion of participation in political party Hizb-ut-tahrir which is illegal on the territory of Russian Federation. He was placed in investigatory isolation ward.
