US President Trump has repeatedly expressed his admiration for Syrian interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa. CNN Arabic reported, “US President Donald Trump expressed his confidence in Syrian interim president Ahmed al-Sharaa's ability to lead his country on Monday, following their meeting at the White House.”
