America is Accelerating its Plan to Separate the Darfur Region
There is No Solution Except by Making the Unity of the State a Vital issue

Since the Trump administration took over the Sudan file after assuming power in January 2025, it has been leading military and political action in Sudan, pushing for the separation of the Darfur region. On Wednesday, 26/3/2025, the army recaptured Khartoum. Al-Burhan declared from the Republican Palace, "Khartoum is free and the matter is over." Military action accelerated, removing the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) from central Sudan, including the states of Al-Jazirah, Sennar, White Nile, and Blue Nile. The Rapid Support Forces thus shrank, tightening their grip on areas in the Kordofan region bordering Darfur, and on the entire Darfur region, with the exception of a portion of the city of El Fasher, which has been under siege for more than a year. This reality, which is summarized in the army's control of northern, central, and eastern Sudan, and the RSF control of Darfur and parts of Kordofan, effectively means separating the Darfur region by demonstrating that Sudan is divided into two separate entities.

Although it was previously announced that military forces would be mobilized to lift the siege on El Fasher and eliminate the Rapid Support Forces, which were at their weakest, as Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported on 19/4/2025: (The latest field developments indicate the advance of huge military forces from the army and the joint force, starting from the city of Ad-Daba, in the north of the country, to lift the siege and advance towards the city from another axis), this did not happen. Rather, the RSF expanded into Kordofan and announced the targeting of the strategic city of Al-Obeid!

As for the political actions, the most prominent of them is the announcement by the RSF, from the capital of South Darfur State, Nyala, on Saturday 26/7/2025, of the formation of a parallel government; a Sovereignty Council, a Council of Ministers, and state governors, paving the way for the tearing of the country apart, and separating the Darfur region. When we add to that the racist discourse in the political circle, and the daily reproduction of militias on regional, tribal, or local bases, and the making of power quotas on racist bases, then we are faced with a complete plan, targeting the unity of what remains of Sudan, starting with the separation of Darfur!

America is proceeding in its separation of the Darfur region in the same manner that it followed in its separation of South Sudan. In Darfur, it inherited the legacy of armed groups created by the British and Europeans, which paved the way for the separation process through armed rebellion against the state, talk of grievances, claims of marginalization, social injustice, and regional and ethnic demands for power and wealth. This is just as it did in South Sudan, where it brought John Garang and his men, and placed them at the head of the rebel groups created by the British and Europeans, and pushed them into armed rebellion against the state for decades! Now America is repeating the same scene in the Darfur region, placing its spoiled son, the Rapid Support Forces, at the head of the armed movements of Darfur, to separate Darfur with its own men, not with the men of the British and Europeans who had previously created the rebellion against America's man (Omar al-Bashir).

America, which previously separated South Sudan, as Al-Bashir said in a press conference in Khartoum in January 2012: “America was behind the division of Sudan to achieve its interests in oil and weaken the country.” He even went further and said in an interview with the Russian Sputnik Agency on 25/11/2017: “We have information about America’s efforts to divide Sudan into five countries, and America has recently acted alone and destroyed the Arab world.”

Indeed, America is seeking to reshape and re-formulate the Middle East region, according to the map of blood borders, drawn up by retired General Ralph Peters, inspired by the ideas of the Jewish intelligence officer Bernard Lewis, who is described as the godfather of dividing the Middle East, by dividing the divided and fragmenting the fragmented Muslim lands. According to his claim, he wants to correct the borders of Sykes-Picot and others, which were drawn by the opportunists Europeans, as he describes them. Changing the borders requires redrawing them with the blood of hundreds of thousands of people in order to produce countries that split and reproduce from the womb of the currently existing national states. This is what he stated in his article accompanying the new maps, which was published by the American Armed Forces magazine (Armed Forces - July 2006 issue). To promote the idea of separating Darfur by forming two governments, particularly among civilian forces affiliated with the British, the United States Institute of Peace held a workshop in Nairobi in April 2024, with the participation of political and civilian forces opposed to the war. The institute concluded at the workshop that the existence of two governments in Sudan would reduce the intensity of fighting and open the way to the negotiating table! (Asharq Al-Awsat, 4/8/2025).

O our People of Sudan:

America, which separated South Sudan, is now returning to tear apart Darfur. If you deal with this issue with the same approach you used to address the issue of South Sudan, then its plan to divide Sudan into five countries, whose borders will be drawn with your blood and the blood of your children, will inevitably happen. This is a clear loss in this world and the next.

People and nations have vital issues for which they must take life-or-death measures. You, the people of Sudan, are Muslims, testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. The Islamic belief has defined your vital issues for you, and you must take only one course of action: either life in its shadow or death for its sake. Among these vital issues is the unity of the Ummah and the unity of the state, as Islamic law has defined the issue and the action.

This is evident in two issues: First, the issue of multiple caliphs, and second, the issue of rebels. It was narrated on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As that he heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: «وَمَنْ بَايَعَ إِمَامًا فَأَعْطَاهُ صَفْقَةَ يَدِهِ وَثَمَرَةَ قَلْبِهِ فَلْيُطِعْهُ إِنْ اسْتَطَاعَ، فَإِنْ جَاءَ آخَرُ يُنَازِعُهُ فَاضْرِبُوا عُنُقَ الْآخَرِ»“Whoever pledges allegiance to an imam, giving him the clasp of his hand and the fruit of his heart, let him obey him if he is able. But if another comes to dispute him, then strike off the neck of the other.” Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: «إِذَا بُويِعَ لِخَلِيفَتَيْنِ فَاقْتُلُوا الْآخَرَ مِنْهُمَا»“If allegiance is given to two caliphs, then kill the latter of them.”

Thus, he made the unity of the state a vital issue when he forbade multiple caliphs and ordered the killing of anyone who attempted to create multiple caliphates within the caliphate, i.e., the entity of the state, unless he retracts his action. 'Urfajah said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say: «مَنْ أَتَاكُمْ وَأَمْرُكُمْ جَمِيعٌ عَلَى رَجُلٍ وَاحِدٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَشُقَّ عَصَاكُمْ أَوْ يُفَرِّقَ جَمَاعَتَكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»“Whoever comes to you while your affairs are united under one man, wanting to split you or divide your community, then kill him.” Thus, he made the issue of the unity of the ummah and the state a vital issue, forbade dividing the community and ordered the killing of anyone who attempted to do so unless he retracts his action.

As for the rebels, Allah (swt) says:

[وَإِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا فَإِنْ بَغَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِي تَبْغِي حَتَّى تَفِيءَ إِلَى أَمْرِ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ فَاءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ]

“And if two groups of believers fight each other, then make peace between them. But if one of them transgresses against the other, then fight against the transgressing group until they ˹are willing to˺ submit to the rule of Allah. If they do so, then make peace between both ˹groups˺ in all fairness and act justly. Surely Allah loves those who uphold justice” [Al-Hujurat: 9].

This is because whoever has been proven to be the Imam of the Muslims, i.e. whoever has been proven to be the Caliph of the Muslims, it is forbidden to rebel against him, because rebelling against him would lead to division among the Muslims, the shedding of their blood, and the loss of their wealth, due to the saying of the Prophet (saw): «مَنْ خَرَجَ عَلَى أُمَّتِي وَهُمْ جَمِيعٌ فَاقْتُلُوهُ كَائِناً مَنْ كَانَ»“Whoever rebels against my Ummah while they are united, kill him, whoever he may be.” So, these rebels against the Imam are rebels who are to be asked to repent and their doubts are to be removed. If they persist, they are to be fought.

By preventing the multiplicity of states, preventing rebellion against them, and preventing division within the Ummah, the unity of the state and the unity of the Ummah were among the vital issues, because the Lawgiver (swt) made the action towards them a life-or-death action. Whoever does it either refrains or is killed. The Muslims implemented that, and they considered it one of the greatest and most dangerous matters, and they did not tolerate it from any Muslim, whoever he may be. This is the ruling of Allah (swt), so take action against the hypocrites and agents, and foil America's plan to separate Darfur, so that you may please Allah (swt), your Creator and Provider, and spare the blood of your children, and stop the plan to tear apart your country.

O our people of Sudan:

This is a pivotal moment in your history. Rise up as one man to thwart this conspiracy. You are capable of doing so if you seek help from Allah and put your trust in Him truly and ask your sincere sons, the people of power and protection, to restore your authority, which has been usurped by the agents and hypocrites who serve the kaffir West and its criminal projects. This can only be achieved by granting their support to Hizb ut Tahrir, which is aware of the conspiracies of the kaffir West, its plans, methods, and men, and is aware of the great ideology of Islam as a system of life. So, rise up, O Muslims, to obey Allah and for the good of this world and the hereafter. Allah (swt) says:

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ]

“O believers! Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life” [Al-Anfal: 24].
