On 21 and 22 March 2016, the Foreign Ministers of the states surrounding Libya (Tunisia, Algeria, Chad, Niger, Egypt and Sudan) were invited to Tunisia in the presence of the United Nations representative, Martin Kobler, a representative of the European Union, a representative of the Arab League and a representative of the African Union. It is their eighth meeting in which they discussed the latest developments in Libya: the political situation, arrangements for implementation of the political agreement, the formation of the government and the security situation
