Alhamdulillah, over a thousand people convened in Western Sydney on Sunday the 3rd of July for a conference organised by Hizb ut-Tahrir Australia to discuss the uprisings that have taken place, and continue till present, in the Middle East and North Africa. International and local speakers assessed these uprisings from various angles with an eye to understanding them in their broader historical, political and ideological context.

At two am Monday in the dead of night, government thugs kidnapped member of Hizb ut-Tahrir Engineer Aftab from his home in front of his family. Aftab is a telecom engineer and father of two young daughters, whilst his father is a cancer patient. There is neither a case of burglary nor a terrorism case registered against him. His only crime is that he accepts Allah (swt) as the Legislator (Shaar'ah) as wells as recognizing Him (swt) as the Creator.
Yesterday (03 July, 2011) the Hasina government arrested senior member of Hizb-Ut-Tahrir, Professor Dr Sheikh Tawfique. His arrest comes after the arrests of 23 members and activists of the party the day before (02 July, 2011) from the party's demonstration calling for the removal of Sheikh Hasina, abolition of the kufr democratic system and re-establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate". The party exposed Sheikh Hasina's anti-Islamic policies and her total subservience to the kafir-mushrik imperialists at the demonstration. The impact of the demonstration is resonating in the country and it has definitely jolted the throne of Hasina, the killer of army officers, loyal agent of US-Britian-India, which can be seen from her haste in ordering the arrests of Dr Tawfique. She thinks this will deter Hizb-Ut-Tahrir. She has lost her senses! Does she not see that there exist on this earth many a tyrants who have lost their way trying to silence the descendents of Hamza, the master of martyrs? Does she not see Gaddafi and Bashar al-Assad shivering from the roars of the Muslim Ummah, despite their brutal genocide? Does she not see how the butcher of Uzbekistan, Jew Karimov has gone mad trying to stop Hizb-Ut-Tahrir? In his madness he is arresting, torturing, wounding and murdering members of Hizb-Ut-Tahrir almost everyday but that has not even slightly affected the growth and expansion, the organization and activities of the party.
وَقَدْ مَكَرُوا مَكْرَهُمْ وَعِنْدَ اللَّهِ مَكْرُهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَكْرُهُمْ لِتَزُولَ مِنْهُ الْجِبَالُ ) إبراهيم: 46).
"Indeed, they planned their plot, and their plot was with Allah, though their plot was not such as to remove the mountains from their places" [Surah Ibrahim: 46]
Sheikh Hasina needs to take lesson before it is too late; before Hizb-Ut-Tahrir gains the nusrah from the brave Muslim Army of Bangladesh and establishes the Khilafah "Caliphate"; when that inevitable event becomes a reality, Hasina and her descendants, will find nowhere to escape, unlike her counterparts, Ben Ali and Mubarak.
