Shawwal 1434 AH - September / 2013
On Sunday, the 1st of September, the President of the National Coaltition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, Ahmad Jarba, called for the Arab League to support the military operation against Bashar's regime. In the opening session of an emergency session of Arab foreign ministers, Jarba said:
Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal, in his speech at the Arab ministerial meeting held in Cairo on Sunday evening 09/01/2013, confirmed that any move to the rescue of the Syrian people is not considered a foreign interference, demanding that the international community uses its efforts to stop this aggression against the Syrian people before this people perish.
The Dutch television channel, Muslim Amrup, last Saturday, on 31/08/2013, introduced the first television program, where the first episode of the program was formed by a proposal by an Islamic Organization (CMO) in collaboration with the Dutch government. This episode of the program was fully concerned with the so called "spiritual care" within the Dutch army to help soldiers with an Islamic background.
For the time being, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has, with the cooperation of the municipalities, implemented the criminal project against the people of Palestine in general and against the poor and unemployed particularly, by making the basic vital services of water and electricity prepaid.
News:
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon called the Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and opposition leader Khaleda Zia on August 23, 2013. He urged them to hold talks for a peaceful resolution to the on-going political crisis surrounding the next general elections. He said the UN wanted to see a free, fair and credible election participated by all parties and that it was closely monitoring the political situation in Bangladesh. Next day, the US Ambassador to Bangladesh Dan W. Mozena described the phone call by the UN Secretary General a ‘very positive development' in country's politics and ‘very strong and powerful message on the need for a dialogue to hold a free, fair and credible election.'
Comment:
The call from Ban Ki-Moon came just two days after the chemical attack on the Muslims of Syria by the butcher Bashar al-Assad. The UN has witnessed the genocide in Syria in silence for more than two years, doing nothing except herd the Muslims in flocks into refugee camps. So the UN which does nothing to solve the crisis in Syria which is costing lives daily, why is it that the same UN is concerned about averting a crisis in Bangladesh. The answer can actually be found in the common factor i.e. realizing US interests. Inaction in Syria and allowing Bashar to kill the Muslims serves US interests. No doubt now that the US is sounding the drums of intervention, the UN will facilitate that. In Bangladesh, achieving political stability is in US interests so that Bangladesh can be a base for the US to monitor the region, dominate it and achieve her strategic and economic interests. That is why Mr Ban Ki-moon is keen on dialogue and free-fair elections. Let us take the scenario in Egypt. What made the UN stand in silence and watch the military take-over happen there while Morsi was elected through a so-called free, fair and credible election? The military even announced in advance that it was taking over but the UN was inept in front of it. Here again, the UN served the Americans and still does so while the military kills the people.
The UN is a club of imperialists under the leadership of USA. It is another US tool for achieving its political, economic and strategic objectives. Whenever it suits, USA works through the UN, while it bypasses it and works unilaterally when it doesn't suit her interests; and when the US bypasses it the UN stands still, inactive, even speechless! The hypocrisy of the UN is clear in the case of Palestine over the last 68 years. Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria are more examples of where millions of Muslims were killed, dishonoured and displaced while UN proved that it is really a puppet.
The Muslims of Bangladesh have to be really worried when the UN enters into the political affairs of the country. It does not bode anything well for the future of the nation. Majority of the politicians and so-called civil society in Bangladesh have welcomed Ban Ki-moon's initiative. Are they blind to what we have said above? No, far from it! They too are like the UN - servants of the Westerners, particularly the Americans. This is the nature of the current democratic system of the country which creates agent politicians, divisive politics and the scope for foreign intervention.
The Islamic rule, Khilafah "Caliphate", alone can prevent any non-believing country or organization from influencing or intervening in our affairs. Islam has categorically forbidden this. Allah (swt) says,
((وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللَّـهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا))
"...And never will Allah allow the disbelievers to have authority over the believers." [Surah Nisaa: 141]
For those who accept them as friends and allies, Allah (swt) says,
"O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliya (friends, protectors, helpers)..." [Surah Ma'idah: 51]
Moreover Allah (swt) warned us about them when He (swt) says,
"Should they gain upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evil..." [Surah Mumtahanah: 2]
The Islamic rule will not only just stop foreign interference in our affairs; rather it will lead the Islamic Ummah to victory over the imperialists and establish peace and security on earth, through unifying the Ummah, establishing cohesive politics, achieving a self-reliant economy, and building a strong army.

News:
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is confident that a military strike against Assad's army may discard the prospect of an international conference on Syria far back. He said this on Wednesday, September 2.
"If the American president announced action, to the great regret of all of us, be still realized, regardless of the words that are said about the Geneva-2, this throw away the prospects of this forum far back if not forever", he said at a press conference in Moscow.
However, according to the politician, finally, "in some other forms of political solution will still prevail".
"But we must understand that the longer we delay this, the longer the ones who somehow affects the opposition can not get it to agree to the conference, the more we see victims among the civilian population" Lavrov quoted by Interfax news agency.
Comment:
The prospect of convening the Geneva-2 has become a kind of pride of Russian diplomacy. Immediately after the May meeting of Lavrov and Kerry the Russian side hastened to declare the conduct of this conference even before the end of the month, then the dates were repeatedly postponed. And here, the Foreign Minister Lavrov was regretfully to tell that the Geneva-2 was not likely to take place.
The agreements of the United States and Russia end where Washington sees a threat to its own interests and in such a situation nothing remains for Moscow but to call once again for international law. The Russian Foreign Ministry is equal in hypocrisy to their U.S. "partners" and boldly emphasizes that in the case of a delaying of political solution the number of civilian victims will increase, as if it is not Moscow armed the butcher Bashar and not he killed the people of Syria with that weapon for more than two years.
Nevertheless there remains the main unifying factor in politics of Moscow and Washington in the region - a desire to protect the already dying system of government and prevent it from changing to Islamic. It's about establishing a possible Khilafah "Caliphate" about which Sergei Lavrov said at the press-conference in Moscow on 7 August. The United States, knowing that Assad's days are numbered and his successor has not still been found, pull together military forces closer to Syria and obviously not to fight against the regime of butcher Bashar al-Assad.
