O Sincere Officers in the Military!

Assalamu Alaikum, wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu

We want to begin this call by reminding you that you are officers of the Muslim Army whose birth was noble, whose forefathers were brilliant commanders and generals, whose history is a glorious history and whose duty is raising high the flag of "La ilaha illa Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah." This Army was established by none other than the noble Prophet, Muhammad (saw). After 13 years of determined and painful struggle RasulAllah (saw) founded the Islamic State in Madina and established the Muslim Army. This Army produced brilliant and courageous commanders such as Usama bin Zayd (ra), Khalid bin Walid (ra), Salahuddin Ayubi, Tariq al Ziad, Muhammad bin Qasim and others. They opened land after land, bringing these lands under the Khilafah "Caliphate" and bringing glory for Islam and the Ummah. It was in this process that Bakhtiyar Khalji opened Bengal for Islam and the Muslim Army was set up in this land. These are your forefathers and you, O Officers, are the descendants of these brilliant men who are forever honored and praised in history. So this is your identity. You are not the Bengali Army or the Bangladeshi Army, or any other ordinary army; rather your first and foremost identity is that you are officers of the Muslim Army.

So, it is not befitting for you to be known to the world as "peace keepers", which is nothing but a fancy term for mercenaries coined by crusader America and the West who are unwilling to send their soldiers to Africa and other places. Your life is not to be driven by the materialistic goal of earning some meager dollars by guarding the interests of America and the West. Love of this world and greed for meager worldly gains drives the Jews and polytheists, not Muslims and the Muslim Army.

It is neither befitting for you to be ruled by the enemy, the tyrant Hasina and to capitulate to her purge. It cannot be that your officers are brutally massacred and you let it pass without an appropriate response, without inflicting a humiliating defeat upon Hasina, the real killer and her accomplices.

Nor is it befitting for you to desert the oppressed people in the land in the hands of the tyrant Hasina. It cannot be that you ignore the demands of the people who are calling for your material support and you provide material support to the ruling regime which the people want to remove. Acting as protectors of despots like Hasina is a prohibited act just like committing zina, eating riba or giving and taking bribes.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ليأتين عليكم أمراء يقربون شرار الناس ، ويؤخرون الصلاة عن مواقيتها ، فمن أدرك ذلك منكم فلا يكونن عريفا ، ولا شرطيا ، ولا جابيا ، ولا خازن

"A time will come when you will have idiotic and despotic rulers over you putting forward the most evil of people and following them in their choices and they will delay the Prayer from its fixed times. So if you are in that time, then do not be a corporal, a policeman, a tax collector or treasurer..." (Sahih Ibn Hibban)

O Sincere Officers in the Military!

With Hasina holding onto power, the people have only one alternative to be free from the death, destruction and injustice of the Awami-BNP ruling regime. That alternative is establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate" under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir. The Hizb has the qualities of true leadership that the country needs - intelligence, awareness and courage. The Ameer of the Hizb, Sheikh Ata Bin Khalil Abu al-Rashtah is an eminent statesman, a jurist, and a scholar in political and socio-economic matters. And he has proven his courage by his struggle when he was the first spokesman of the Hizb (in Jordan) and suffering in the prisons of tyrants. Under his leadership and guardianship the members and activists of the Hizb are courageously struggling against tyrants, including the tyrant Hasina, facing her bullets and suffering in prisons. They are also mature in understanding Islam, affairs of politics as well as educated in a multitude of subjects.

Regarding the Khilafah "Caliphate" which the Hizb is calling towards, it is an obligation upon the necks of all Muslims. It was narrated from Nafi' that Abdullah ibn Umar (ra) said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (saw) say:

«قال رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ خَلَعَ يَدًا مِنْ طَاعَةٍ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَا حُجَّةَ لَهُ وَمَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ فِي عُنُقِهِ بَيْعَةٌ مَاتَ مِيتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً»

"Whoever withdraws his hand from obedience (to the Khaleefah) will find no proof for himself when he meets Allah on the Day of Judgment, and whoever dies without having an oath of allegiance (Bai'ah) on his neck he would die the death of Jahiliyyah." (Muslim)

And providing material support in its establishment is an obligation on you, who have the power in your hands. It is the true aspirations of the people who are eager for its establishment so that they can resume living by their Deen. The members and activists of Hizb ut Tahrir who are facing Hasina's bullets for the sake of the Deen deserve your support in overthrowing her and replacing her with the party's Ameer as the Khaleefah of the Muslims.

Before we end we want to address what may come to your mind that overthrowing Hasina might be a risky affair. Let us remind you firstly that just like the love of worldly gains, fear is also a characteristic of the Jews and polytheists. It is not a character of the Muslims, let alone the Muslim army and it is not even the characteristic of a genuine army, let alone the Muslim Army. You are supposed to strike terror in the hearts of the enemy. Moreover what you fear is in fact the whispering of Shaitan, upon which the tyrants thrive, upon which Hasina thrives by creating a sense that her spies are everywhere and everyone is being spied on.

((إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمْ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلاَ تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِي إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ))

"It is only Shaytan (Satan) that suggests to you the fear of his Auliya' (supporters and friends), so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are (true) believers." [Ali-Imran: 175]

O Sincere Officers in the Military!

So do not fear. And shun the meager worldly gains, the few dollars earned from U.N. missions. Strike Hasina and the Kufr regime of which she is a ruler before it is too late and she escapes the punishment for killing the army officers in Pilkhana. Take the people's side and rescue them, free the oppressed people of the country from the tyranny of tyrant Hasina. Fulfill your duty of providing material support in establishing the Islamic rule. Hurry to gain the Good in the Dunya- the honour of being the Ansar for establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate".  And gain the Good in the Akhira - the reward of Jannah for being the Ansar for establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate", Insha'Allah.

Egypt Shocked over Exclusion from US-Africa Summit

Egypt slammed on Wednesday a US decision to exclude it from a summit for African leaders to be held in Washington in August. "This decision is wrong and short-sighted," Xinhua reported citing Egyptian foreign ministry spokesperson Badr Abdel Aatty in a statement. Egypt is surprised by the US move especially as the summit is not taking place within the framework of the African Union (AU), he added. The AU is currently suspending Egypt's membership. On Tuesday, a statement from the White House said that US will host the first US-African Leaders Summit in Washington in August. US President Barack Obama will send invitations to 47 African nations that are currently in good standing with the US and are not suspended from the AU - therefore, there will be no place for states like Egypt, Zimbabwe and Sudan, the statement added. The US-Egyptian relations have been tense since the ouster of former Egyptian president Mohamed Mursi in July, 2013, after nationwide protests calling for his removal. Egypt's membership in the African Union was suspended following Mursi's removal. [Source: Khaleej Times]

It is odd to find Egypt complaining, given that Obama refuses to call Mursi's ouster a coup and has not terminated the military aid that keeps Egypt's armed forced well equipped to shed more blood in a bid to defend American and Israeli interests. In fact it can be said that America has worked very hard to shield Sisi from his crimes against the Egyptian people. But if Aatty were to admit this in public, then this would expose the co-operation between his government and their master.

Brahimi Speaks of Geneva II "Bad Blood" Ahead of Regime-Opposition Talks

Syrian regime and opposition bad blood runs so deep it may be hard to talk seriously, Lakhdar Brahimi said, pledging to meet with each side separately Thursday. "Statements from both sides confirmed there's a big divide," Brahimi, the special U.N.-Arab League envoy to Syria, told reporters in Montreux, Switzerland, at the end of an acrimonious first day of ministerial speeches before talks aimed at ending Syria's nearly 3-year-old civil war start Friday. "We will be meeting with them [Thursday], separately, and we will discuss what the next steps will be," the veteran Algerian diplomat who is mediating between the sides said after Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem defiantly called Syrian insurgents evil and ignored U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's appeal to avoid epithets. Muallem refused to yield the floor when Ban signalled he exceeded his allotted 8 minutes. "You live in New York, I live in Syria," Muallem snapped. "I have the right to give the Syrian version here in this forum. After three years of suffering, this is my right." "Let me finish my speech," he said angrily. Ban let him go on. Muallem's remarks lasted more than 30 minutes. Brahimi told reporters he might need more time to discuss the terms of Friday's talks before bringing the two sides into the same room. Those direct negotiations, planned for nearby Geneva, would be the first direct talks between the regime of President Bashar Assad and opposition forces since Syrian unrest began March 15, 2011. The official objective of the peace talks, known as Geneva II, is to establish a process to create a transitional government with full executive powers. [Source: Albawaba]

The evil of the so called friends of Syria is clear for all to see. How could they allow the butchers of Syria and the opposition that at best represents No One inside Syria to talk about a peace process? And the reality truly manifested itself as the people America bought together to salvage a political solution squabbled with each other that led the American agent Brahimi to call for separate meetings Where he  will most likely remind them what they are supposed to say and do.

US Considers Options for Troops in Afghanistan

US military leaders have proposed two options for Afghanistan after 2014 - leave 10,000 American troops there when the combat mission is over, or pull all of them out. A source tells VOA the proposal has been discussed at length for some time now. But several news organizations, including The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, say the commander of the NATO-led force in Afghanistan, General Joseph Dunford, presented the option to the White House last week. About 37,500 US troops are on the ground in Afghanistan, along with 19,000 forces from other countries in the NATO-led coalition. Haji Saleh Muhammad Saleh sits on the defence committee in Afghanistan's Lower House. He tells VOA Afghan Service's Ashna TV that if a complete pull-out is seriously considered, then the US should help strengthen Afghan security forces. "It [the plan] should include extensive civilian aid programs and to back the Afghan government.  The amount of assistance should be increased so that Afghanistan can stand on its feet," said Saleh. Some reports also say that if 10,000 troops are left after 2014, they should all be withdrawn by early 2017, when President Barack Obama leaves office. The Afghan government has not yet signed a Bilateral Security Agreement that would determine the number of American troops to stay in Afghanistan by the end of this year. The Obama administration says if the agreement is not signed soon, the US may have to pull out its troops because there won't be time to plan for a continued presence. Afghan President Hamid Karzai says the winner of that country's presidential election in April should sign the agreement.

Whatever plan the US comes up with the writing is on the wall- America failed in Afghanistan, just as it failed in Vietnam, Somalia, Iraq, Libya and other countries it invaded. This should spur the Afghans in government not to sign the security agreement, as America whether it stays or not, will not be able to protect them. The only solace for the Afghan government is to work with the Afghan resistance to give a devastating blow to the crusader forces, and add America to the graveyard of empires.

Lawmakers Tie Pakistani Aid to Release of Hero Doctor

Lawmakers are attaching some strings to $33 million in aid to Pakistan, making the funds contingent on freeing the doctor who helped the CIA find Osama bin Laden. The GOP-controlled House Appropriations Committee inserted language that appears to withhold the foreign aid unless the State Department certifies Dr. Shakil Afridi is released from prison, where he's serving a 33-year sentence on a dubious conspiracy conviction. The condition left Pakistani officials fuming. "Any linkage of US assistance to this case is not in keeping with the spirit of cooperation between the two countries," said Pakistan Foreign Office spokeswoman Tasneem Aslam. President Obama signed the bill on Jan. 17. As so-called omnibus legislation, it includes appropriations for all federal agencies, including the State Department. While the overall foreign aid appropriation would be left to the State Department to dole out, the Pakistan portion can be made conditional on a determination by Secretary of State John Kerry that Afridi has been released and cleared of all charges. The State Department has repeatedly decried Pakistan's treatment of Afridi, but officials did not say if Kerry is prepared to withhold the funding. "We have seen the language in the bill; we are reviewing it, and will comply with the law," said State Department spokesperson Peter Velasco. "Our overall position on Dr. Afridi has long been clear," Velasco added. "We believe his treatment is both unjust and unwarranted. We regret that he was convicted and the severity of his sentence. The prosecution and conviction of Dr. Afridi sends exactly the wrong message about the importance of our shared interest in bringing Osama Bin Laden to justice." Aslam insisted that Afridi, a Pakistani citizen who has said he helped the US in the hunt for Bin Laden out of love for America, is a criminal. Pakistan, which was deeply embarrassed when a May, 2011, Navy SEAL raid showed the Al Qaeda leader had been living in a compound in Abbottabad, claims Afridi's immunization ruse to try to obtain the terrorist's DNA discouraged people from getting immunized for polio. First of all, the real criminals in Pakistan are the top brass of the Pakistani army which colluded with America in her war against Islam, undermined Pakistan's sovereignty and made life difficult for the masses. Musharraf, Kayani, Pasha and others do not need to be tried for their crime of high treason just punished. Second, people like Dr. Afridi may have had a hand in the Abbotabad raid, but is hard to believe that the raid could have happened without the consent and knowledge of the Kayani and Pasha-the real culprits. Third, when is the Pakistani government going to take a tough stand against the incarceration of our sister Aafia Siddiqui and other Pakistani who have stood valiantly against America's war on Islam?

On the 6th of January 2014, malaysiadigest.com reported that the number of children aged between 5 and 15 with poor mental health is rising, with 20 percent found to be suffering from stress, anxiety and depression according to the latest National Health Morbidity Survey (NHMS). Deputy director-general of Health (Public Health) Datuk Dr. Lokman Hakim Sulaiman said poor mental health could be the result of pressure on students from the high expectations of parents and teachers in academic excellence and individual personality, as well as social, family and interpersonal problems. On December 13, the Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam said school counselors would be given extra training to increase their expertise in counseling students to tackle mental health problems.

Comment

It is estimated that children between the ages of 5 to 15 years old is 10% of the total population in Malaysia. Thus, from this total, 60,000 children suffer from mental disorders. How could this occur? According to a study carried out by the President of the Malaysian Mental Health Association (MMHA), it is caused by symptoms of anxiety, severe depression and emotional stress. He added, "A number of factors identified that contributed to mental health disorders are psychosocial factors which encompass aspects of family, home and school as well as social aspects."

Family factors play a vital role to ensure children obtain the sufficient love and attention they deserve. This is in line with what our Prophet (saw) stated as narrated by Abu Hurairah (ra):

قَبَّلَ النَّبِىّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِىٍّ ، وَعِنْدَهُ الأقْرَعُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِىُّ جَالِسًا ، فَقَالَ الأقْرَعُ : إِنَّ لِى عَشَرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ مِنْهُمْ أَحَدًا ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم، ثُمَّ قَالَ : مَنْ لا يَرْحَمُ لا يُرْحَمُ

"The Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) kissed Al-Hasan bin' Ali, and beside the Prophet sat Al-Aqro 'bin Haabis At-Tamimiy. Thus Al-Aqro' said, "I have 10 children, none of them have I ever kissed." Therefore, the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) looked towards Al-' Aqro 'and said, "Whosoever does not have mercy / love then he will not be loved/blessed."

However, the increase in marital failure leading to divorce has provided a non-conducive environment to children. Parents who often argue and fight in front of their children bring a negative impact on their children's upbringing. Children will tend to act violently as a result of imitating their parents who fight regularly. Moreover, this situation also inhibits the healthy mental and physical growth of children. Children will easily act violently, become depressed and suffer from emotional distress because of the pressure obtained at home - a place which should play the role of being the first and primary school for them.

Parents' focus in seeking wealth leads to them transferring their duty of nurturing their children to others - such as nurseries, schools, or other care-centres. This results in children having no choice but to beg for affection from others. All this is a consequence of the implementation of the corrupt capitalist system in Malaysia that has unfortunately nurtured in many within the society the mindset of prioritizing amassing wealth over family duties. It is also due to the absence of a sound Islamic education and social system that ensure that individuals embrace a clear understanding of their responsibilities in marriage and as parents and implement it in their lives.

A child deserves the right to gain love and affection from their parents to ensure that they can grow perfectly. Islam has placed the role of educating children as a vital responsibility shouldered by parents.

Mothers should serve as the first teachers of their children and household manager of all their household affairs. Therefore, as a woman, they must return to their nature as a mother and not transfer their main responsibility to others. Furthermore, it is only under the Khilafah "Caliphate" state that the correct Islamic education and social system will be implemented and the rights of children in all aspects protected, whether they are related to their physical, financial, educational or emotional needs.

Alhamdulillah, the stand that Hizb ut Tahrir had called for in Wilayah Jordan in front of the embassy of the criminal regime, Bashar's regime, took place, that was titled: "Reject the Geneva Conspiracy and the Tyrannical System and the Treacherous Coalition" where the Hizb declared its condemnation of the convention and its outcomes, and described the gathering states as traitors, and that it aims only to produce another Bashar loyal to Kufr - no different from the present one.

Amid heavy security and media presence, participants chanted "Allahu Akbar" and chants that describe the Coalition and Assad as traitors and agents of the Kaffir West in the stand.

The Head of the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir in Jordan, Mr. Mamdouh Abu Sawa Qitaishat, delivered a speech in which he described the Coalition as "surrendering their constants at a time when they have no constants; for they conceded from not negotiating with Bashar, and they conceded from not participating in Geneva 2," and he described this surrender as "subservience and submission to America and its allies; in order to create a new authority that maintains America's influence", and that "the entire issue is to put forth a successor for Bashar to the present Bashar, a traitor to Allah (swt) and his Messenger (saw) and the believers."

He added that "the Coalition has stabbed the Muslims in the back and the stomach and does not conceal its treachery, indeed it displayed it at auction... so do not provide them a route or a passage to the land of al-Sham, the center of Dar al-Islam..."

Speeches were delivered that called for the people of ash-Sham to thwart the Geneva 2 Conference by continuing their revolution and submitting to the demands of the Coalition, and called the rebels to unite their row and work to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" and sever the influence of Kufr from the land of the Muslims, and reminded them of the sanctity of the blood of the Muslim. They also called upon the armies of the Muslims to immediately mobilize to free the people of ash-Sham and save them and establish the Khilafah "Caliphate".
